Life Gear Search LED Light with Beacon: Waterproof LED Flashlight, 300 Lumens, 5-Hour Run Time, Camping & Emergency Use

Purchased in store. Flashers work. Flashlight does not work at all. Sold construction. Sounds great, but little use if no flashlight. First flashlight I bought that does not work out of the package.

First time I've ever typed this, but if I could give no stars, I would. When it works, it's a great light. Great concept, great execution, solid construction, and from a once-solid company that, in the past, had a great warranty program. Now, it's a mess. I've bought two in the last three weeks or so and both died within a week. Actually, they didn't die, they lost 1/2 of the functionality. There are four light modes: Low flashlight, high flashlight, red flashing ring light, and white tail strobe. In both of the lights I had, the flashlight functions (both) stopped working. The red ring light worked, and the strobe work, but those aren't worth $20. I bought these two to replace an old one that had quit on me. I'd had it for a while. When I checked on warranty replacement, I learned that Life Gear was bought out by another company which states, explicitly, that they won't honor the prior warranty from Life Gear. So, no more of these. Returning both.

Great light for the price. I use it daily!
