Please never cheapen these boots. They are the perfect material, height, and comfort. Their wide width is intelligently across the foot bed, not the calf, as many other shoemakers do. If wide calf is provided, the listings should specify "wide calf." Wide *shoe size* should refer to the width across the foot--which Lifestride does right! I've had two pair of these boots for over 3 years, and wear them all cold seasons long--yet they still look almost the same as they did brand new! Comfort is great, even with a bunion on one foot. The look is classy, especially the black under boot-cut pant. The material looks like leather but spares the cows. I am SO GLAD you have not discontinued nor down-graded these boots! I am not the only one appreciating all these qualities, as is evident in the reviews. Thanks.

I’m always apprehensive when ordering boots online. I have wide calves. These boots fit me well. I’m not fond of the amount of stretch fabric used, but, then, I do want them to fit. So, a compromise. I haven’t worn them out and about yet, so not sure about how they’ll feel after a few hours.

True to size. Very comfortable. The stretch material allows for a wider calf & looks stylish.

I have been searching for black riding boots for a few years now, but to no avail... until now! I LOVE these boots. They fit my foot perfectly (I ordered a 8 1/2 wide). I have bunions on both feet and finding shoes and boots is always a hassle. But no more! I actually ordered two pairs of these so I will have them for many years to come!

I have had this pair of boots for years. Heavy wear. Meaning i wore them almost everyday for over 2 years. Ordering me a new pair. Very comfortable. I love the stretchy calfs. Great Boots ❤️ 💙 💜

These boots are comfortable but I didn’t like that the backside is all knit fabric. I imagine it might not hold up well over time (might get caught on things, velcro from my jacket could catch it), and it probably would not do well in the rain. To be fair, the description did say it is not water proof and I would agree. These look nice and fit well and are comfortable, but I went with a different style to better fit my needs.

Exactly as expected. Comfortable. Attractive. They were perfect for my larger calves and even fit well over jeans.

The boots are easy to put on and take off, they were comfortable from the moment I started wearing them, and they look great dressed up or down.

Comfortable boot, runs narrow, fabric calf instead of leather material. I kept the boot even though it wasn't just what i was looking for. Price was good for an all purpose boot. Other Lifestride shoes have been comfortable which was the main reason for keeping them.

Both comfy and cute. I especially love the elastic that wraps around the back of the boot/my calf.

Sizing is smaller than expected. Box was opened and there is no information about exchanging or returning item.

I was reluctant to buy boots with a cloth back but was surprisingly satisfied with the fit.

They are so comfy and can be dressed up or down. Only complaint is that they slightly scrunch at the ankle. Other than that, these are a wardrobe staple!

Fir wide calf easily with the whole back being stretch. However, the shaft lacked structure and it started slouching just while trying on.

I could not tell from the picture on my phone that the back was fabric. I was looking for an all leather boot. So I immediately returned because they were not what I was looking for.
