[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In general, I'm very pleased with the shed. Looks great and it's spacious. The roof truss system seems very sturdy. Construction took some time, but overall not too difficult. Was worried with the number of extra screws we had at the end but we checked after install and it seemed like we didn't miss any. Had 4 days of rain after we got the roof installed and no leaks into the shed were noted. The floor design could be improved upon. The heads of the screws that lock the panels to each other are not recessed and present as small silver colored heads on a black floor. Also, none of the pre-formed locations for the lag screws in the floor panels align with any of the wooden base joists. Guess if the winds are strong enough to lift the shed with all of its contents off of the base foundation, the structure could not be able to handle it anyway and would break apart. There are also several small gaps/openings in the floor along the perimeter when all is completed. I used caulk to fill them in to reduce the entry of the number of crawling insects. Guess I'll have to spray some insecticide also.

Bad experience won’t buy again just due to the frustration assembling it. I’m also mechanically inclined as well. This was polar opposite or my assembly experience with my lifetime adventure club house assembly which was a breeze. Quality of the product is good. The shed is solid.

We apologize about the frustration with the assembly of your new shed. Each part is not labeled individually since stickers would increase manufacturing costs, which would raise the sales price. There is a visual I.D. of every part in the manual, and some of the larger pieces have measurements associated with them. Just finished building this shed and I’m very impressed. I installed it over a raised deck style platform with concrete footings. Laid sheets of plywood over 2x6 joists. Shed went up with little trouble, but it took a long time. I would say plan to spend 1-2 days on your foundation and another 2 days on your shed install. Very happy and am looking into buying more tool hooks!

2nd shed nice design, everything went well except putting wall panel bottom tabs in still a little tough on corner panels. Would have liked same skylight as our 7x7 shed. A extra window would have been great also or an option to add one at time of purchase. Overall we like both our Lifetime sheds!

Able to correct with threshold for under doors, hinges, still working on that. All in all very nice shed, should get many years of maintenance free service.

Went together easily with clear instructions. Suitably sturdy for this type of shed. The reason for a star deduction was the roof panels came in two shades of brown and is very obvious. Also there could be a larger lip over the door. The lack of a suitable rain shield over the door allows rain to drip in from the doors and soak what ever is in the path of water.

I received the shed in a timely manner but it was missing some parts. This was disturbing because I had hired someone to put the shed together and they were unable to do so because of the missing parts. I called customer service and after a medium wait for someone to answer the customer service representative I dealt with was professional and ordered the parts that I needed and I have received notice that they have shipped and will be delivered in a timely manner. Kudos to the customer service rep

Bought this shed a week ago. Took me 4 days to complete because it was hot during the day and rained at night. Did it by myself with the exception of the doors and door gable connection. Most of the instructions were good but there were a couple of spots where it didn’t make sense. There is an app called “BILT” where you can go and see a 3D version of your product and see the instruction better that way. Unfortunately for me I purchased the 12.5x8 foot shed (model 60223) and it wasn’t on there so I had to look at the 10x8 foot one to help me out. Overall going back and forth wasn’t the easiest thing to do but it worked. Im pleased with the shed but like I said the instructions need a little work in some areas of explanation.

It is a beautiful shed in the end, but the assembly was quite challenging and time intensive. It was very difficult to get the parts to line up correctly and there are instances where additional details regarding the orientation of a piece of the specific details regarding notches on the trusses would be so helpful. We ended up having to backtrack many times and reassemble throughout the process because there was not enough details in the instructions and there is not a specific assembly video for this model, so we were having to use a different video as a supplement.

Pretty decent shed for the money. This is having just completed assembly. Instructions were a little lacking in a couple of places, but really not bad, just make sure you read all of the *Notes because it's always information you need to do the step right. Should ask me to review again in a year and we'll see how she stands up to time, although, we have friends who have had a lifetime shed for years with no issues.

Living in a camper we do not have much space. This should do it!!! The company is great to work with. I had a few pieces missing and they were great and fast at sending it. The tolerances on the shed is ridiculous. We live in Arizona and even in 80 degree weather the pieces warp and the tolerances for the holes the screws go into are so small that it's impossible to get everything lined up correctly. The designers of this need to increase tolerance levels because it is simply too tight to be workable. Specifically, pieces were warped or not straight which made it difficult to line up the holes or grooves.
