Very long 8 hour assembly only to discover that one roof piece is warped and won't sit properly, noticeably sticks up. It doesn't leak just looks terrible. I thought about contacting lifetime to get a replacement roof panel, but the amount of work it would take to disassemble dozens of steps to swap out this piece was not even close to worth it. wish I had bought the other brand I was considering

Worst instructions. Don't know what's worse if the actual instruction book or video. Is a nightmare to put together, so if you don't have patience don't buy it.

My husband and i(both seniors), put this together without outside help. Only rough things was the corner pieces to fit. The video seemed way easier than reality but we just took our time. Great results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a complete novice, you have to figure out how you're going to build a foundation (don't just install onto the grass/soil). Once you've solved this, the next challenge is assembly of the shed. It literally took me all day to put the shed together with two other guys helping me out: - Two on foundation one unboxing and assembling pieces - Two on doors and one on floor and walls - Two on the roof (my third helper had to go) The ROOF was the biggest pain to install. I believe my walls weren't perfectly square as someone else mentioned and as a result the holes did not line up perfectly. Even while loosely installing some of the panels, it was very difficult to do. I am not sure how folks did this solo as you're holding a panel above your head, trying to thread a screw into a misaligned hole and making sure everything lines up right. I would recommend at least two people tackling this job and to potentially break it out into two parts: - Day 1: build foundation and unbox materials - Day 2: start assembling materials Other tips: - Check walls to ensure they're square; if you can't do that then I would recommend keeping panels loosely screwed in so you can connect all the components before the final tightening of everything
Great product and support!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fast delivery. The kit was complete and well packaged. It was evident that a lot of effort was put into drafting the building instructions. Do yourself a favour by reading and following the instructions. They even cover options for foundations for the shed. Great support from the manufacturer with special mention to Dyson for all his assistance. The online videos with tips and tricks were very helpful. Would definitely recommend Lifetime for a shed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Lifetime shed in 9/2006. It has been a very good, sturdy and attractive storage shed, no leaks or any other issues. Early March 2022 a tree came down brushing the back corner and damaged the left back corner panel, side panel and the window. A roof panel came off but was not damaged and the inside roof braces were fine. I contacted Lifetime to find out if I could purchase replacement panels. Customer Service Agent Justin responded the next day. He asked for the model number, pictures and a copy of the original receipt (believe it or not I still had it). Justin asked me to identify the panel part numbers from the installation manual and send the information to him. I also asked him to please let me know much the replacements would cost. The next thing I knew the replacement panels were at my front door. No invoice no charge. Without a doubt this is a company you can count on. Now I have purchased the Lifetime Horizonal shed to place next to the old but like new original shed.

This shed arrived in three large boxes, after our handyman opened the boxes he discovered that there were extra parts for another shed, so we basically had 1-1/2 parts for this particular shed. He had to decipher which parts went with our particular shed which ultimately took him twice the time to assemble. Also, the window inserts for the skylights were missing, which requires us to have them custom cut to accommodate the skylight openings. We currently have the extra parts to dispose of, so bottom line we received parts for two different sheds and forced to assemble one out of them. Very, very disappointing. And expensive as I was paying the handyman hourly.

Purchased for a year round campsite in Wisconsin. I built a stable, strong LEVEL platform of 2x6 & 3/4" plywood on which shed sits. Make sure your platform is Level. Myself and a friend did the installation; it took, say 2 days primarily because we are both in our mid & upper 70's. The other reason it took us longer is the extra HDPE material we had to trim off so many parts and areas. This was "extra" high-density polyethylene material which, it appears happened when the parts did not come out of the molds cleanly. Another area this happened is in the location of some "Screw holes", except many of the holes were filled with or covered by excess high-density polyethylene. Easy enough to do with a sharp pocket knife or razor knife, but time consuming. Lifetime should work with their manufacturer to correct this annoying and time consuming issue. Another heads-up: If you are viewing an online video of installation, or parts of an installation, make sure you are viewing a CURRENT video of the exact shed you are assembling. Be mindful of subtle differences between the shed you have and the video you are viewing. Last tip: take it step by step, one step at a time. Follow the directions! Soon, you will have your shed assembled. I chose Lifetime over several different companies because of the recommendations of several other shed owners in this campground. It is a nice, sturdy shed. I choose this model because of a 64 sq ft limitation here at this campground and, because this model comes with accessories. I am pleased with the purchase of this Lifetime shed. If the parts & pieces didn't need so much trimming, I would have rated it a 5!

Outstanding customer service! I called to inquire about replacement skylights for my shed. After explaining what had happened to my current ones and why I needed needed new ones, I was placed on hold for less than a minute and to my surprise the representative advised that he would be sending out replacements, free of charge. Corbin was super friendly and efficient. Thank you for making this process so easy!

Excellent quality DIY shed kit. Assembly is definitely a project but I was able to knock it out in a weekend with my 13 yd old daughter as assistant. Assembly instructions were generally very good including QR codes with explanatory videos which were helpful at a few points. A bit fiddly to get the wall panels to properly engage with the floor and also to get the roof trusses correctly installed - but came out great overall. A solid flat platform for the shed to set on is critical.

The shed looks very nice and the video clips you can access to help build it were very helpful. I feel the anchoring hardware should be included. The washer size listed cannot be found even online. It caused a lot of frustration trying to find the right size. Once fully assembled, it's very sturdy and a great size!
