Lifetime Adjustable In Ground 54" Basketball Hoop

This hoop is amazing! When it was finally all put together, we have no complaints. The backboard and rim are high quality and feel very sturdy. The assembly was a bit rough with some very tight fits. We had to order one replacement part due to a machine error but other than that the instructions and whole process was pretty straightforward. The videos were very helpful during the assembly process. Overall, a very good product.

Sturdy, great looking, easy to raise and lower. Hardest part was finding someone to put it together and install it.

The backboard & hoop bounces every time we make a shot! I would’ve expected much higher quality and no movement in the rim and backboard for the cost. I would not recommend this to anyone. Complete waste of $600!!

Love this basketball goal! This is a wonderful basketball goal. Our son absolutely loves it. We could not find someone to professionally install, so my husband and son did it. The directions are very unclear. However, we found a youtube video that combined with the directions made it go smoothly.

This is my 2nd warranty claim and with out hesitation they replaced the part .

This system is solid, and will last for a long time. Definitely use the ground sleeve in case you need to remove it for any reason!

I purchased and installed my Lifetime basketball hoop (model #78888) in the Summer of 2008. It went together well and is sturdy. There are three issues I have experienced: 1) The acrylic backboard separated from the frame at the top corners (it is windy here). I notified customer service, sent pictures and a copy of the receipt. They shipped a new backboard, no charge. I finally installed it this last weekend (the old one still worked, just flapped a bit). The new one had the same issue, so I picked up some corner braces at the local hardware store (see pics). 2) One of the rim netlocks broke off. We had a school welding shop student fix it for us. 3) There is a plastic piece between the backboard and rim. My son has been known to hang on the hoop at times. This has ruined that plastic piece. The rim now slants slightly forward. Overall the basketball hoop has been a good value and has served my family of five well.

I was pleased that a backboard replacement was available for an older 54” in ground hoop. Price was god, shipping a little expensive

I bought a basketball hoop (#90878) and the bottom pole (of 3) was the wrong pole. I saw online that it happened to a couple of other people so I called and they simply dropped one in the mail for us. Thanks for the help!

It’s very nice but does not bolt into the ground.

Our backboard came in damaged, most likely by the looks of the box by UPS, but Lifetime immediately sent us a new backboard and it was as simple as some pictures and our receipt!! The customer service rep, Vendla, was exceptional and so so sweet!!

This has been well used and loved by all our members and their guarantee on parts is second to none.
