Q: How long does it take to put together?
A: We hesitate to give assembly times as it greatly depends on the skill level of the person doing the assembly. We recommend two to three adults and on average will take 1-3 hours to complete. Detailed instructions are found in the assembly manual and can be downloaded from the manufacture’s website at lifetime.com under the model number. You can find manuals by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the web page and clicking on "Assembly Help". You can then search all products by model number and language. There are also assembly videos on YouTube you can watch on the Lifetime Assembly Channel.

Q: 1) what is the measurement from ground to lowest hardware behind the backboard (with the hoop at regulation 10 feet)? 2) can I get a profile photo to see what the hardware looks like (with the hoop at regulation 10 feet)? Mahalo,
A: That would be the rim height, minus the approximately 3-1/2” for the backplate of the rim and the 1” frame. The 90593 has a 3” pole. With the rim at 8' (lowest) that would put the lowest hardware behind the backboard at approximately 7’ and 7.5”. With the rim at 10’ (highest) it would put the lowest hardware behind the backboard at 9’ and 7.5”.

Q: What are the dimensions of the base? How heavy is the whole unit? Can we lay it down during a storm or when not in use?
A: The base measures 46.6 in. x 30.0 in. x 8.2 in. If the base is properly filled the unit as a whole should weigh around 450 pounds. The system is portable with wheels on the front of the base so it can be moved when needed. Yes, you can lay it down in a storm if needed.
