Lifetime Pro Court 44" Outdoor Portable Basketball Hoop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the basketball hope very quickly after order placement. My surprise, the box is small, which is a bonus. I am a big fan of being able to put my summer “toys’ away in the shed when winter hits and this packs up super easily. Everything telescopes and goes together again so nicely. Second of all, assembly is super easy. A hot fall day and less than 30 minutes and it was up and ready to go. Which is good, because kids can be impatient when they want to play some hoops. Once put together it was light and easy to move, fill the counterbalance reservoir with water, plug it, and play. Rebounds like a dream, height adjustment, easy peasy. Thoroughly thrilled with this hoop (which is why I stick to Lifetime products). The quality is high and I know this will last a long time. For now we will shoot the hoops until winter hits and then it’ll be time to chase our next lifetime buy, maybe it’ll be sleds next!

Easy Assembly ✔️ Good Size ✔️ Durable ✔️ Compact Storage ✔️ Kid and Parent Approved ✔️ This net was extremely easy to set up, my 8 and 5 year old were able to help set it up with zero issues or tears! It was the perfect size for my kids to practice their soccer skills in our backyard. The storage bag held everything great and was compact for storage. It is made out of quality material and will truly be a "Lifetime' product. My family gives this net a solid 10/10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The basketball hoop is great. Normally setting up something big like a basketball hoop can be tricky by yourself. This hoop I could set up by myself. The video included in the instruction book was great. It even showed how to use a table to do the final steps without a second person. The instruction booklet was very helpful; I do recommend the video as well. The video makes it even easier to follow the steps correctly. There is one step that you cannot reverse (it warns you before you complete it). The parts were easy to find, the pictures in the booklet made it easy to find which bolt you need. As far as the product itself, this hoop is great! The quality is great and I think this basketball hoop will last us for years to come! I do want to put in the warning if you use water instead of sand, it says to empty the base before winter. You do not want the water to freeze and expand. I did put in water for now and plan to put sand in it before winter. We were too excited to use it to wait for the sand. I do not worry about it falling over once the base is filled. I could not move it by myself. I had to have someone help me tip it so I could use the wheels. Once I got it tipped to use the wheels, I could easily move it across the driveway. My son has been a huge fan of the computer and TV. Once he was interested in basketball, this was a great tool to help him practice. He is suddenly dribbling balls everywhere and I find him outside shooting hoops often. I am glad the hoop is adjustable as he grows and improves I can move the hoop up until it is official height.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this hoop for a couple weeks now. It was super easy to setup and all of the tools and parts were easy to decipher on where they went. It took roughly an hour as I had my 13 and 15 year old helping me. We used water in the base and so far it has withstood some significant wind storms. There are two cons that I have about it. The first is the backboard. It is kind of flimsy and the ball doesnt bounce off of it very well. The second is the height adjustment. It takes at least an adult or two teens to lean it down and unscrew the bolt to slide it up or down. Other than that I am very happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hoop arrived with very detailed instructions along with well labeled parts which made it very simple to put together. It does recommend at least two individuals setup but I was able to put it together by myself in about 1 hour, again very good instructions and labeling! Overall, the hoop is made very sturdy and with water in the base there is little movement when the hoop is in use, making it have a more consistent rebound after each shot allowing you to get more shots up without worrying about the hoop moving around. Whether you are working on layups or jump shots in the yard, this hoop provides the ideal setup to build your skills.

Not very stable when at 10’. Maybe better if you keep it lower. After 6 months the base is coming apart and leaking, would give zero stars if I could

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the ease of assembly with this Lifetime 44-inch Portable hoop. It’s a great addition for our driveway providing good quality and affordability. Assembly took approximately 35 minutes with two adults. The directions and diagrams were very detailed and easy to follow. Before starting the assembly we watched the YouTube assembly video in its entirety which we found helpful and made the overall assembly process quicker. One tip that helped us during assembly was using a backless chair to assemble the backboard at a higher level after installing the pole. Which gave us better leverage. The base is a solid plastic piece no assembly required to that. I currently have the base filled with water. It felt stable while throwing hoops and playing. I will be switching to sand for the winter as I live in the Midwest and I worry about the water freezing and damaging the base. The base came with two plugs to keep the water or sand contained and keep the elements out. For a portable hoop I am impressed with how easy assembly was and for how sturdy it feels. The ball comes off the backboard consistently. With a large enough surface area to practice our shots. The rim is also sturdy it is made of a durable metal that holds up well with different rim shots. Overall I think this portable basketball hoop is a good choice for a driveway or backyard. Assembly was quick and straightforward after the base was filled it is sturdy. I am happy with the quality and design of this portable hoop. It’s a great addition for our family to spend more time outdoors. I received this product free of charge in exchange for providing my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love it,it’s super sturdy

The finished product is well worth the effort. Hoop is sturdy, good sized and as expected. We filled the base with a polymer gel mixed with water. Holding up great and the kids are already having fun!

happy for my kids, now they can play without driving crazy to take them to the park.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy installation and self explanatory instructions. Me and me kiddo put together less than 30 mins.

Great product. The You tube video was easy to follow to put it together. Definitely gets to a max height of regulation height.

The instructions do not make sense. Supplies do not match the instructions, there is no master supply list and it reads like they are google translated from another language. If you built one before you might be ok. You definitely need more than one person and a few different tools that are not included. I would have paid for it to be assembled if I knew it would be this weird. I haven’t tried adjusting the height of it’s easy I’ll come back and add a star but I doubt it will be easy.

Very happy with the quality and super easy to assemble.

Hoop is sturdy but it annoys me regarding the ratling and shaking but I think it's sturdy enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product at a great price. There is one part of the instructions that are wrong. The same bolts are called out in 2 places and a set of bolts is not called out anywhere. But the length difference of the bolts makes the application easy to decode. Also there is an extra piece not in the instructions that i believe is for strengthening the hoop. Makes it a little confusing. I think to use that piece you would need different nuts that aren’t provided.

Fantastic product, exceeded expectations. Fun and durable, worth the investment. Will last a long time. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend 2 people but I assembled in under 1 hour by myself

Worst instructions I've ever used. Very poor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this like a year ago and tried dunking on it and the pole bent.
