Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lipton, for bringing back my favorite tea!!! I’m 74 years old and Lipton Unsweetened Instant Tea had been my go-to comfort drink since I was in high school. When it went away I tried teabags and every other instant tea out there, but nothing came close to my old favorite. While I love it for making iced tea, my preference is to drink it hot with a little sugar and milk. Having it back in my life is like finding an old friend again.

The flavor is strong and dark, so it definitely needs some sugar or sweetener if you’re not into straight, bold tea but that’s actually a plus if you’re diabetic or just want to control your own sugar levels, since it has absolutely no sugar in it. It’s super easy to mix, and the aroma hits you as soon as you open the package. The little carton container is small and cute, which makes it easy to store. Overall, a solid choice if you want customizable iced tea.

While we were glad to be able to finally get a hold of it. We have noticed something. 1. Canister is much smaller and the amount is much smaller. I mean barbie can??? 2. The taste...what the heck did you do? Seriously?? More filler than actual tea?? And that's just two teaspoons. Do we actually need to add more teaspoons to get it to taste like the old version? 3. How do you equate 28 ounces with HIGHER price. Vs 30 ounces like the old canister?? with lower price?

Very disappointed. This cannister costs 3 times as much as the as jar did but only has 2/3 the amount of tea mix. We mix 100 gallons of tea for a fund raiser which makes this quite costly to use.
