Causes oral mucosal peeling & dry mouth
I loved the idea of no alcohol in a brand that is so strong and refreshing. However, I used this a few times and each time my mouth feels very dry for about 5-10 minutes afterward. That’s not a long time but I’d rather not feel uncomfortable after using a mouth wash. I even looked online to see if others were having problems with it, which I found that I and others have experienced oral mucosal peeling. Which if consistently happens, could result in another issue. Even drinking water doesn’t help, I just have to wait it out. I will be dumping out the rest of the bottle.

Too Foamy + Needs SLS Label Warning and More Testing Before Launch
1st time buying, but will not buy again. Alcohol is not OK for your teeth, but when compared with the same product with alcohol, this is way too foamy. I do not have an issue with its taste, but I do not like the mouthfeel after its use. I do not use it often. Listerine's company should alert users about potential effects of SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) in the oral mucosal: irritation, peeling, dry mouth, allergy and so on - some people that wrote negative reviews here may be sensitive to this ingredient. Also, SLS is a known foaming agent. It does not look like the company was very thorough in its R&D and simple expanded the product line without completing sufficient long-term testing. At the time of the purchase, it was more expensive than the product with alcohol.

No Burning Feeling, but CAUSES Harsh Chemical Burns
You know when you get a sunburn it and the damaged skin cells die and peel away? The same thing happened when I used this product. I used the zero-alcohol Listerine once a day for 30 days and with EACH USE it damaged my mouth so badly that the cells on my cheeks and gums immediately peeled away, just like sunburned skin! The next month I switched back to the alcohol version, and yes, it had a much more painful sensation, but nothing was peeling. Whatever substitute they use for the alcohol is extremely hazardous!!

Good mouth was, not so good flavor
I like that this leaves your teeth and gums feeling clean and fresh for a LONG time, even the next morning or after eating. What I do not like it this has a very herbal taste, likely from the eucalyptus and thyme extracts, and it lingers in your mouth forever. I rinse with it at night and in the morning it tastes like I have eaten something with those herbs in it. 3 stars for it being a great product that cleans and protects your mouth, but that flavor is something that could be improved by adding more mint or something.
