Fun for all
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun creative toy. Both my 5 and 2 year old love it. My 2 year old likes to lay it down to stick the pegs in as the board tends to slide some. When playing this way it turns the light off sometimes. My 5 year old likes to make designs and loves the diffrent light choices. I put the pegs in a bowl to keep them from rolling away. We have only played a handful of times and the rubber facets for the back board are starting to not close all the way. Still better than the old school lite Brite we had as kids.

its a cheap piece of junk
cheap piece of crap. I had one when I was a kid and loved it. our granddaughter lost interest in it 10 minutes in. The pegs have lost their point so you have to push hard to get them in. Only some of the screen is lit up. The activity pages are terrible and it keeps shutting off. Id return it if I had known. Im glad some folks love it. I feel ripped off.

Great toy for 4 and up!

We did buy some Christmas pictures to go on it, because that’s what my kids wanted, but it has been so good to my 4 year old, who is very hard on it. The lights are great, i don’t feel like I have to hover over him, it’s super safe and fun for him!

Barely works, save your money.
Bought this for my l.o. for Christmas. They love it, BUT... only about 1/4th of the board lights up. So disappointing. Thought maybe it was just ours, but apparently it's common.

Overall this was great, my kids had fun trying their own designs and popping the paper with the designs provided. The one complaint I have so the stand that holds the Lite-Brite up isn't super sturdy for little hands that might push a little hard. Overall I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good: Love that it is battery operated. Has 3 light up options that blink or stay on during play, but also has an auto turn off. Kids really loved creating designs and were happy to know they didn’t necessarily need to use the enclosed templates. Not so good: The canvas area is not as large as the original you may remember. The stand is flimsy so it doesn’t stay up when pushing in the pins, making it easier to use the toy while it is flat on the floor instead (see photo). The power button turns off and on when bumped or putting it back into the box. Despite these few design flaws, it keeps our littles entertained.

Much smaller than it used to be back in the early 2000s - it’s not as bulky. Doesn’t really come with a lot of pegs so you should buy an extra pack other than that device works great my daughter loves it. She is six.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box was very nice. The colors were bright and it was sturdy. The product itself was just okay. It has four different options for the background light. The stand on the back wouldn’t stay up when we were using it so we had to lay it flat. The pieces didn’t stay in the pegs very well. It seemed only certain parts would light up brightly while the others were dim. We still had a lot of fun playing with it but I would not buy this specific one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this for my kids to try, as it brought back memories of when I used it when I was young. I was the first to try, because, well I just couldn't help myself 😆. I am rating this a 4/5. This is because the batter compartment was very hard to unscrew. Along with that, it should be brighter, which my kids agree with. The stand is great, however the pegs are too difficult to stick in and it knocks over. It isn't sturdy enough. I do appreciate that it isn't heavy, but it seems a little bulky. Storage is pretty easy and convenient, as there's also a little baggie to keep the pegs in. There are definitely improvements to be made. My son who is 7 ended up giving up after being so close to finishing the picture. Overall though, my kids do enjoy this and it keeps them busy for a while.

Fun and creative!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to relive my childhood with Lite-Brite Classic with my own child! The design is better than I remember with the colorful pegs fitting perfectly in each space and there's not much light that shines through once the peg is removed. It's small enough to travel with and as long as we keep the pegs in a bag, everything is portable. It takes 2 AA batteries that it comes with and it has 4 light settings to choose from as well as 6 templates and 214 pieces which is enough for each template. I'll be buying more pegs for more intricate designs since we can't seem to get enough of it!
