A: Hello! We manufacture both the blue cheese and the buttermilk used in our dressings. The milk used to make the blue cheese and the buttermilk used in the dressing is pasteurized before production.

WARNING: Ingredients Have Changed!
"CANOLA OIL" is no longer the first listed ingredient. It has changed to "VEGETABLE OIL (CANOLA AND/OR SOYBEAN OIL)," although the Target website has yet to update their Litehouse dressing pages. I was willing to overlook other problematic ingredients (carrageenan, etc.) for the sake of it being soy-free—no longer is that true!

chunky blue cheese salad dressing
The salad dressing is not what I would consider chunky but I have found a chunk or two in the dresing. However if it was as chunky as I feel it should be the squirt thru top would have to be removed. The taste is very good and I like it better than any other blue cheese dressing that I have bought. I love Litehouse salad dressings the best. Target does not carry the Litehouse Chunky Blue Cheese that I normally buy so I buy this one. When I was able to shop instore for my groceries I would buy the Litehouse Chunky Blue Cheese Salad dressing from the refrigerated section in the vegetable aisle. It was packaged in a jar and filled with lots of chunks of blue cheese. this dressing is just as good as I remember but with mimimal blue cheese chunks.

So Good! The Best!
Litehouse is easily the best blue cheese dressing. Creamy + flavorful + incredibly delicious. I'd say it's best than Marie's. A perfect accoutrement to chicken wings, excellent on a wedge salad (add crumbly blue), or as a dip for crudités. Unfortunately, my closest Target stores have been out for a long time; I hope they restock.

My new favorite! Seriously Excellent. BUT, the bottle gets 1 star taken off my score. The lid WILL NOT come off so The seal can be removed. I poked a steak knife in and got it to be squirtable. But, it gets clogged with cheese chunks. A definite design flaw. But I'm still going to continue buying it & hope they read these reviews to fix it.

Excellent dressing but in a flawed jar
I have purchased 4 jars in the last 2 months. The lid on the jar on 3 of the 4 cannot be separated. I had to poke a wire in the hole on the lid to access the dressing, only to get the hole plugged by the chunky pieces. Overall a mess. The dressing is exceptionally good but the lid is flawed. I intend to return this jar that I obtained and may contact Litehouse…
