When you press the button and hum a song or tune the bird will sing/chirp the same tune back. There is a switch that makes the bird sing back word-for-word as well. The cage is cute and my kids love this toy- especially the 4 year old.

The packaging is really nice and she likes to carry the birdcage around from room to room. It’s been fun to have the bird talk back and my daughter finds it cute and funny. So far it seems sturdy and durable. Nice value for your money and plenty entertaining.

They've always loved music and their grandparents have poperty with a lot of birds so having one they can interact with has been very exciting for them. The packaging was a pain to open. However, in the last few years, we've come to expect the intense antitheft packaging. The bird seems sturdy enough, and yes, it does sound like a robotic whistling. It is a robotic bird, and making that clear to my children made a world of a difference in how they approach playing. My son is 5, and my daughter is 2. They both LOVE Miss Rosie.
A great choice for an affordable, entertaining toy

This bird and cage set is nice because of the full set (not just a bird) and make if feel like a comprehensive toy. The bird chirps and moves, with buttons on its front chest for easy control. I’m not really sure what to comment on other than it’s cute, fun, my kids love it and so do I. Build quality is good. Also, if you are looking to buy a gift for someone, this would be a really good idea as well. It seems like a substantial item and would be received well. Packaging is also very efficient and simple. I didn’t need to break out a chainsaw to open it up. Overall, 5 stars.

The buttons to record and instructions were slightly confusing as to how to get it in the right mode but my daughter figured it out. It will sing and whistle back to you and you can record yourself so it repeats back to you. Other than that not much more engaging factors. Decent for the value just wish it did a little more. maybe interacted without you having to press buttons and maybe flapped its wings or some more animation.
