About The Author
Anna Dewdney was a teacher, mother, and enthusiastic proponent of reading aloud to children. She continually honed her skills as an artist and writer and published her first Llama Llama book in 2005. Her passion for creating extended to home and garden and she lovingly restored an eighteenth-century farmhouse in southern Vermont. She wrote, painted, gardened, and lived there with her partner, Reed, her two daughters, two wirehaired pointing griffons, and one bulldog. Anna passed away in 2016, but her spirit will live on in her books.Dimensions (Overall): 7.6 Inches (H) x 7.8 Inch (W) x .2 Inch (D)

This book is strange. As others noted, it doesn’t rhyme like the other Llama books. The theme is Mama Llama’s hatred of “gadgets” while camping. She won’t even let the kids use a camera to take photos.
No rhyme

This book doesn’t read like any of the other Llama llama books. I was very disappointed, there’s no rhythm or rhyme and it’s a very flimsy paperback.

Cutest book. We recently got a trailer and thought it was a fun little gift for my kids to get while we went on our first camping trip. It is a soft back book but still pretty durable. And super cute story.
