It reminded me of Christmases gone by, that childlike wonder at the most magical time of year, and cosy romantic Christmas movies that played in the background while running around my grandparent's house. This was a nice reprieve from other books, where misunderstandings can be found galore. The beautiful scenes that Sam found himself in and tried to turn into romantic proposals were so easy to imagine. Thorn did a fantastic job of giving us well-detailed descriptions of the scenery, that I found myself transported to a magical snowy mindscape.

I would recommend reading this if you are looking for a cosy festive romance, a short reprieve between longer books, or if you are a lover of Christmas movies like me."
