Beware of using ice packs
My 2nd grader has been using this for about 6 weeks now, we love it so far except for beware of the lunch bag. It looks like it has lining to protect it from moisture on the inside but after taking cold lunch most days for that 6 weeks and using an ice pack in there, the condensation from the ice pack caused the lunch bag to become moldy so we had to throw it away and buy a new lunch bag. If you look closely the lining is also starting to tear along the seam as well. All that being said, we still find the backpack to be holding up thus far.

Broken zipper in less than 2 weeks
One of the main zippers is broken. Did not even last 2 weeks of school. Tags on the bag claim a 2 year warranty, hopefully they will replace. my daughter loved it for the looks, but this is low quality.

My 7 yr old LOVES it
Just got this, so we'll see how well it holds up, but it's very cute and my 7 yr old loves it. Wish the bottom part wasn't light pink (it came with a dirt stain already on it), but for the price my expectations are low and I'll be happy if it survives the school year. The separate clear pouch/pencil bag is small and not very useful, that's the only other thing I'd change. The fabric inside is surprisingly smooth and padded, feels nice.
