I didn’t expect much from a basic wireless mouse, but the Logitech M550 ended up being one of those “why didn’t I buy this sooner” upgrades. The first thing you notice is how quiet it is. The clicks are almost silent, which sounds like a small detail until you’re working in a quiet room and not sounding like you’re typing on a typewriter. Logitech’s SilentTouch tech cuts down noise without losing that solid click feel.  The scrolling is surprisingly smart. The SmartWheel switches between precise line-by-line scrolling and fast scrolling automatically, which actually makes a difference when you’re bouncing between documents and long pages.  Comfort is where this mouse really wins. The shape fits naturally in your hand, with soft rubber sides and a slight contour that makes long use easy. And they actually made different sizes depending on your hand, which is rare for something this affordable.  Battery life is another strong point. You can get up to about 2 years on a single AA battery, so you’re not constantly swapping batteries like it’s 2005.  Connectivity is simple too. You can use Bluetooth or the USB receiver, and it works across pretty much every system without drama.  ⸻ Bottom line: If you want a no-nonsense wireless mouse that’s comfortable, quiet, and just works every single day, the M550 is an easy choice. It’s not flashy, it’s not trying to be a gaming spaceship… it just does its job really well.

I tried several mice....this 550 is just the right size and gives great support for my medium-sized hand. It glides smoothly, and wheel works flawlessley, and it is so silent. Best mouse I have ever owned.

Not compatible with my logitech keyboard

My 7 yr old logi mouse is acting up so I am getting this new and large one. It is affordable but would be much happier if I can get it for $5-10 less.

It quit working May 3rd 2025 so after 6 months of use

I just needed a new mouse with bluetooth, so I threw this in my cart. I donn't have large hands at all, but I like the larger size of the mouse. I also didn't realize how quiet the button's would be. Very nice.

Purchased this in August 2024 for my brother, because I’ve had great experiences with Logitech. Stopped working within 6 months. Total waste of money

Scrolling wheel got jammed. Pleasantly so just a few days past the return window is closed. Waste of money and yet another piece of electronic waste.

Really happy with this mouse. I like that it can connect with Bluetooth or the dongle that comes with it. When clicking the sound is muted and much less distracting. Makes it feel more expensive than it actually is. I use it when I work remote and it gets the job done.

I got this as a replacement for my wired Microsoft mouse. I chose this specific model because I have a larger hand and battery life of this one is pretty decent. I honestly do not know who made the design decision; this is too sensitive on the buttons; the slightest touch just triggers the left and right buttons instead of an actual button click. The scroll wheel also laggy most of the time, the scroll on the wheel and the actual Window are not in sync most of the time. I have already thrown away the packaging, so I think it will be unethical to return this. I will stick to other brands for my next purchase.

Been using this Mouse since last year and it’s been great. Also hardly any noise from clicking as well.

The left click is hard to do, but don't worry, if you even just look at it, it will right click on its on its that sensitive. I spend most of my time now unright clicking. This mouse is pure garbage. The wheel roller in the middle, like all mice, breaks within days and starts skipping a bunch. BUT NOTHING IS MORE INFURIATING THEN THE RIGHT CLICK EVERY TWO SECONDS!!! I touch the table it's on, and right click. Not even touching the mouse at all, and right click. The most frustrating thing a mouse could possibly do.
