LOLA Phase 1 Postpartum Pads - Maximum Absorbency - 20ct

As a 5th time mom, I really liked these pads for postpartum but as another reviewer said, they are not suitable for IMMEDIATELY after birth. I started using these after about 18-24 hours. The Frida postpartum pads are probably more suitable right after birth but these were nice after things slowed down a bit so I didn’t feel like I was wearing a giant diaper. They are soft and didn’t bunch up or move around. I liked the phase 2 pads as well after about 5 days.

These are not absorbent enough for immediately after birth like they describe.

They stayed in place without leaking and felt much more comfortable than hospital ones. I felt supported and could move around without worry during recovery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Postpartum can be tough, changing a new baby diaper & yours haha. These here !!! Even if you aren’t a new mom, if you have heavy cycles THESEEEEE! They are compact for on the go. They are THICK but not visible & bulky in clothes. They are long! Front to back coverage. They HOLD honey! Very absorbent.. the only thing I don’t like is there’s no wings. But it is wide enough to cover your undies & not move. Wayyy better than the hospitals & better than those expensive diapers in my opinion.

It’s 3 times more absorbent than a heavy pad and also the ones that the hospital gives you. It’s 100% organic cotton topsheet. It’s full front to back coverage. It’s breathable and gentle comfort. It’s not bulky and uncomfortable to wear like the hospital ones. Made with natural ingredients. I definitely will get this again.

I was allergic to the adhesive on the pads provided by the hospital and all I had were pads pictured beside the LOLA postpartum pads. These came just in time to save me from having a really bad time postpartum. I didn’t have to choose between too small pads or contact dermatitis. The design and packaging make to easy to manage postpartum bleeding. The sides have a stretch-y, curved design that is comfortable to wear and conform better to the contours of your leg. As you can see from the photos these pads are very think and have great absorption. I also love that these pads are unscented and made from cotton which is ideal for recovery and protection from things like yeast infections etc. Overall, I highly recommend for a gentle, effective recovery support.

They were very comfortable and I didn’t feel like I was sitting in a diaper during the first few days of postpartum. I felt very fresh and clean despite everything and I’m so glad I was able to have these at a time when I really needed them. Will always recommend.
