If possible I would rate these pads a 4.5 rather than a 4 and it’s mainly because of the overall wings on the pad. They are small and because of that, there is not much of the stickiness available to properly stick to your underwear which I have experienced movement of the pad itself when changing positions while sitting or even walking. What I do like about these pads is they are super absorbent, overall comfortable (when not moving frequently), and the fact that it’s organic is great! They are also soft and non-scented which is a big plus!

These pads are actually quite nice, they are truly fragrance free, do not feel like a diaper and has nice protection overall. The sticky also works! However, the cotton does pill and stick to your skin no matter how often you are changing these. Hopefully that can be fixed, I will buy again - but still on a hunt.

Allergic reaction and I’m not allergic to cotton so I don’t know what is in these things that isn’t labeled. Unless you wanna wake up at 3am feeling like you’ve been burned and bitten by 20 mosquitoes, don’t buy these. I have sensitive skin but no other brands have ever caused this issue. It’s awful. They also don’t absorb, the blood sits on top. And the wings are terrible and don’t stick.

I bought this super skeptical because I‘ve had poor experience with cotton pads. I’m blown away by how absorbent this pad is!! And it doesn‘t leak at all. Disregard what other people say about how sticky the pad is. It sticks and stays!! I highly reccommend this, and plan to continue using this brand. Please Target carry expand the pad and liner range of Rael!!

Fibroids and all, these are great pads. I used to use Always extra heavy overnight pads. I have fibroids so my cycle is SUPER heavy. Always pads are thick so they help absorb a lot of menstrual blood. The problem is Always has a lot of chemicals in them, that may be contributing to the heavy cycles, cramps, etc. I had to change my pads every 2 hrs and they were super full. If I waited another 30 mins, I would have a mess to clean up. Now I still change my Rael pads every 2 hrs, but the materials in this pad is better for my health. On my SUPER heavy days, I wear Rael's disposable menstrual panties along with the Rael overnight pad. I still change often and I still have to double up on my SUPER heavy days, but better materials for my already compromised body. I read the reviews about the wings, but I haven't had that issue. I do wash my hands before I change my pads so I feel comfortable with really pressing the pads and wings into my panties and I've been fine so far. If that issue does arise, then I'll probably line the wings area with Rael's pantyliners. Heavy cycles can be expensive, pay with cash not your health.

The adhesive is very poor quality and doesn’t stick. They bunch up and don’t stay in place. The wings have very little adhesive and become almost immediately loose.

Just tried this pad for the first time because I was looking for something more organic/less chemicals. I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I like it! Love that it’s so soft, doesn’t have that plastic feel or sound to it. Even the wrapper it comes in is cotton and makes no sound when you open it. No fragrance at all which is ideal for me. I also like the wings on it being smaller than most. I’m a fan!

I am someone who is allergic to tampons and have had terrible periods always. I’ve tried so many different pads and all of them always have that heavy chemical smell. This brand feels so soft and comfortable and has no chemical smells to it. I wish more than 16 came in a box since it’s definitely not enough for a full cycle. Additionally, the wings are a little small and almost not needed. However, I highly recommend these if you are looking for something more natural and soft.

As someone who’s in Marching Band I found this extremely helpful. I didn’t have any problems with feeling anything, and it’s crazy absorbent! Walking in parades with this pad felt like a walk in the park, because I didn’t have to worry about it leaking, moving, or not being long enough. As someone who also has to wear leggings as part of my uniform, everyone one that I asked said they couldn’t see it. Also as someone who is small, this was long enough to not have to worry and anything, and is a good pad to sleep in too. But I also would try the petite ones for normal days because of how absorbent they are!

I tried this on my quest to find more natural products and have been pleasantly surprised by them. I’ve rebought them more than once, and as someone who used to hate pads these have created a newfound appreciation for pads for me. They aren’t itchy, they don’t smell, they have a good about of stick but it’s not excessive to where you’re pulling apart your undies to get the pad off, they absorb well and are a great length and width. Definitely plan to keep purchasing and have recommended them to others. I want to add that as a mom of 3, my periods have such a variation in their flow and who’s constantly moving up/down with small littles, these have never let me down.
