Lyric Supreme 4.5 Lb. Multiple Species Wild Bird Seed

Great mix with high quantities of sunflower seeds and other nuts.

I have been buying Lyric Supreme for years because of the variety and high-quality of the seed mix. However, in the last couple of months, the seed is loaded with millet, which is always left uneaten in the platform feeders and on the trays in hanging feeders. There are still sunflower seeds, but very few dried fruit and nut pieces. There is even less corn than usual. What happened??!! I pay a-lot for this seed because I want quality. The last 20/40 lbs bags have been like this. I may start mixing my own seed. I did not take photos yet, but I will post again when I do.

This feed has worked great to help attract what birds are around during the cold winter! Can’t wait for spring/summer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review for Lyric - Supreme Wild Bird Mix. I really enjoy feeding the birds in my yard and have quite a variety that visit. I haven't used this brand before so I was curious to see if they would like it. The woodpeckers were the first I noticed eating it and they kept coming back for more. We also have a lot of chickadees and blue jays and they seemed to be very happy eating it also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been feeding this supreme wild bird mix to the birds in my front yard for the past few weeks. I live on Long Island, NY and here this product mainly seems to attract sparrows. I have also seen many cardinals, a couple doves and squirrels and even a woodpecker eating this bird seed mix. I’m hoping that over time it will attract more doves, woodpeckers, and the blue jays that I see in my yard occasionally. The birds gobble it up and I have to refill my feeder a couple times per week. I like that this mix contains a combination of traditional and more unique ingredients including black oil sunflower seeds, white proso millet, cracked corn, shelled peanuts, safflower seeds, black striped sunflower seeds, pecans, pistachios, small golden millet seeds, canary seeds, nyjer seeds and sunflower kernels. It is mainly comprised of sunflower seeds. I like that this product comes in a resealable bag. I would definitely recommend this supreme wild bird mix to anyone looking for a great mix of ingredients to feed their backyard birds

The Supreme Wild attracts and brings in so many new birds I haven’t seen before- the squirrels of course all love it. The bag is easy to open and pour from. The resealable bag is a must! The amount of seed you get in one bag is great for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up to give the Lyric brand a fair try. Ultimately the South Carolina wild bird population of the upstate will decide. Sorry to report that the consensus rated this mix with an underwhelming review. I’ve had this small bag of feed for a couple months now and the birds just don’t eat it with the ferocity I’m accustomed to. I did notice the seed mix has quite a bit of millet seed filler. These birds will not eat that for reasons unbeknownst to me. I really wish I didn’t have to write a negative review for this product but I have to report what actually happened. I’m sure this seed mix is popular in other parts of the country but not here in the upstate of South Carolina. I have had very good success with black sunflower seed in the past so I’m going to get the Lyric Black sunflower seed next. Stay tuned!!

I got a little solar bird feeder that lights up at night and this is easy to pour into it to feed all my local birdies. I saw a blue jay in our yard for the first time after I filled the feeder with this!

I put it out to fill my feeders around my house and the neighborhood birds clean it out about every couple of days. It looks like there are a few different types of seeds in the mix. I will definitely be buying refills because once you feed them, you shouldn't stop.

They really seem to enjoy the food but they are some picky eaters. There was one grain that I noticed that the little birds didn't eat. But it didn't go to waste the squirrels seem to enjoy all of it.

We’ve had a lot more birds at our feeder since we’ve been using this brand. There’s a great mix of seeds and not a lot of flyaway particles, like other brands I’ve used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Lyric Wild Bird Food in the Supreme wild Bird mix variety. This feed has a mix of natural seeds, nuts and over 50% sunflowers seeds. It also contains pecans, pistachios, peanuts, sunflower, safflower, nyjer, canary seed and millet. This variety is supposed to help attract Cardinals, Chickadees, Doves, Finches, Grosbeaks, Jays, Juncos, Nuthatches, Titmice, Towhees, Woodpeckers and Wrens. This mix of nuts and fruits looks like a really nice trail mix. The birds that visit my feeder devoured it and I had to replenish. I think I might have a few squirrels that are enjoying the feed as well.

My bird feeder has been quite a popular spot as it has been attracting many colorful beautiful birds and it makes bird watching so much fun.

I am a novice bird watcher and a newbie to the DC area by way of western PA, and I have never gotten so much bird activity. We see so many bright red cardinals which seem to be the head honchos with the smaller guys (finches?) flying away when they come over. My cat loves all the activity, and this birdseed is so good you even need to watch out for the occasional squirrel. Can't wait to see what the warmer months will bring. Lyric birdseed fan for life!

The feeder is a very busy place and the birds seem to love this food. This particular brand seems to have way less “filler” than other brands I've purchased and several different seeds as well. I highly recommend the Lyric brand of bird feed because of its quality mix!.
