Being British it is so nice to find some home brands here in the US - I wish Target stocked more M&S items! They are a child orientated biscuit (and British) so expect flavours to not be too over powering or artificial and a subtle sweetness. My child loves these as it reminds them of home. They come in a sweet decorative tin that plays "Jingle Bells". They are pricey given they are imported but the plus side is that they are made of simple EU approved ingreidients - no bleached flour or unneccessary artifical flavourings and additives.

Music Box Gingerbread House
I bought this tin because I've bought one the last 3 years. The first 2 I liked the tin the best as they looked more like a classic gingerbread house, not cartoony/childish.. Sadly I will be returning this year's (2025) because it is exactly the same as 2024 version. Otherwise it works great. The cookies themselves are your classic British shortbread cookie shaped like gingerbread people.

Wind up, broken at store needs to come with tape over it
Purchased drive up. the musical wind up button was broken. It had been overwound and wouldn’t turn anymore. I was able to get a refund online. I think MNS needs to add a tape that goes over the wind up switch so that customers can’t break it. But it’s very cute and I wish it had worked would be a good decanter to keep Hershey’s kisses, etc. Inside.

Wasnt what I wanted
I disliked this item because the gingerbread cookies tasted terrible. They were stale and did not even taste like gingerbread. They tasted like shortbread cookies, which could be okay, but not if you were expecting gingerbread cookies. I couldnt even manage to finish all the cookies. The house is cute though, and the song part is fun. I just would not get this if you want the cookies inside. I would get a music box separate. I hope this helps.

not gingerbread!
I don’t know in what world these are considered gingerbread men. They’re shaped like it yes, but taste and have the very crunchy texture of shortbread. I understood being premade in a tin they would’nt exactly be fresh, but they taste exactly like a girl scout trefoil. no ginger taste. I’m reviewing because I came back to the app to check that I didn’t misread what I bought. and removing the tamper proof stickers is overly hard as they’re low quality and peel off in pieces.
