MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow - Ulta Beauty

So, first and foremost: nothing will be 100% crease proof against 90 degree days in an arid state if you have oily eyelids. BUT, this on top of a primer and beneath my shadows, if I let it fully dry, will get me through a work day. I usually hit 5PM and I'm creasing, but this little guy does let me last until that 5:00 marker with my primer and shadows. I let it dry down and it works super well as a tacky base for my shadows to cling onto. I would recommend this in a shade close to your skin as a base or a primer for shadows if you have oily lids like me, hi hello. It works great. Not foolproof, but well worth the price in the hot weather with minimal touching up required to stop creasing or other wear.

I don't tend to used it on my eyelids because of the creasing but if applied with the fingers is a great eyeshadow base color and for the under eyes as well.

The color pops on my skin. But I don't love it. People rave about the paint pots and I just don't see myself grabbing for it when I do my make regularly…maybe I'm missing something. I probably won't buy another one.

It serves as a high concealer also and hides dark sports too while being an eyeshadow

I have loved this for decades as an eyeshadow base, especially for a cut crease look. Highly recommended!

Works very well for my sweat prone skin. I don't find the product lifting off my face as opposed to many 'waterproof' products.

Love these eye shadows…. Easy to apply, they stay put for the whole day (no creases) and easy to travel with (;not a liquid so can pack in carry on)

Second time I bought this item. Creamy texture rich selection of colors. Goes on smooth and lasts for a long time. No clumping.

Not one company not one, makes a light grey or cool purpish med grey without shimmer!! Why? Ive looked for over 4 years!! Tons of creams and brown and mostly WARM SHADES. I have lyliterally looked at EVERY BRAND that makes cream shadow pots & sticks! NOTHING!!! So frustrating!

This creamy and blendable eyeshadow holds very well. Mine does not come off until I take it off at the end of the day. It goes well with other Paint Pot colors and with powdered ones as well. Painterly was my very first one but got me hooked and I now have about 10 others :). A little goes a long way.

This is nice on the eyelids alone or as a base for eyeshadow. It can also be used under the eye to cover dark circles and helps keep my mascara from marking my face throughout the day.

I have veiny eyelids. This helps neutralize them and prep the eye with a good base. Dries down matte, has a decent tackiness to it at first.

By far my favorite cream shadow. I have many colors. I love soft ochre for a base and bare study for highlights the best.

I was looking to purchase eyelid primer and found it was no longer sold. A salesclerk recommended this product in the most neutral shade. What I discovered is it is a great primer, but also that I can use it alone as a neutral eye shadow. Also, I have sensitive skin and so far it has not caused any issue.

Need right applicator , and to get more familiar with it

I've been using this as an eyeshadow primer since it also provides coverage for the discoloration on my eyelids. I've tried at least 6 eyeshadow primers and this is hands down the best. Eyeshadows blend so easily with great color payoff and no creasing throughout the day

I've been using the paint pots from MAC for over a decade. They are terrific! This color, Vintage Selection, is a perfect everyday light shimmer that makes getting ready so easy. I don't love everything MAC makes, but the paint pots are a staple for me.
