MAC Powder Plus Foundation

D;MLAWDL;M;lsm; I have used this powder for over 20 years, and MAC has always been consistent. I could trust what I was buying. This is not the same powder foundation. The NC 20 is more orange than neutral, it is now a shade or two darker than what it used to be, and only lasted about one week, when the same amount used to last a couple of months. I am incredibly disappointed. I would no longer recommend buying this foundation, and it has been my go-to for many years.

Change in formula

I'm not sure why, but the formula definitely changed. Not only does my face look orange (my brother confirmed what I already knew) but the powder is not blending as well as it used to and I have combination skin so it starting to look uneven in some spots. I think I might be switching from MAC after so many years…

Go to Ulta to get color matched. I got NC20 and it is orange. This will be the first foundation I've ever returned to Ulta. I will get matched in-store before buying more Mac foundation.

Bring back the talc

The old formula was so smooth and seamless, absolute perfection. NOW, it's cakey, patchy, and has less coverage than the orignal. The new packaging is nice and all but, they should have just kept the old formula and repackaged. Also forget what your shade was before! now you have to go on a man hunt to find a new shade and it still won't be quite right. Whatever MAC is doing right now… just stop.. pls

Just ain't the same

Ive been wearing Mac StudioFix powder foundation for 22 YEARS, and I have never had a problem until now. They reformulated it, and ladies, it just ain't the same. The color is too orange, the product creates a TON of dust when you apply with a brush, and worst of all, as soon as you sweat or get a little oily, it doesnt stay put. Its almost likes its sitting on top of my skin, and lookes almost shimmery but also dry at the same time. After only 3 hours, i look like a creased, patchy mess.

The new formula is absolutely terrible

I absolutely loved the coverage of the old formula, but how light it was on my skin. The new formula is cakey and the colors (even those recommended by their experts) don't match well. I've now switched brands, this really sucks!

New Formula

I could not figure out why my skin was breaking out and getting rashes when I had changed NOTHING in my routine. It cleared up while using a heavier liquid foundation exclusively while on a two week vacation so I had the thought that maybe the formula of this foundation had changed and sure enough! I had been using MAC pressed foundation for probably almost 10 years and never had issues till now. Will have to switch to a different brand.

Not good

The old formula was waaaaayyyyyyy better. They changed the color range so much there are no very fair shades anymore. Theyre very yellow or orange and too dark. Also the texture is very chalky and does not sit well on the skin. God forbid you have any dry, flaky skin. Forget about it. Feels like corn starch on the skin.

I have been using NW20 for over 20 years. The new color is too orange! Otherwise I like the new design of the compact. But the color annoys me.

Awful! Mac needs to bring back the old formula - I’ve been wearing shade NC 25 for 20 years, and the new formula is straight ORANGE. It’s terrible. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

It's just not the same coverage and the old formula used to last me over 3 to 4 months and I had to replace this one within two weeks of purchasing. I'm devastated that after 20 plus years, I'm having to find a new powder to wear every day.

I actually like this brand…I have been using this brand for years and all of a sudden my shade (NC43) is gone. The sales lady suggested this (NC44), and now I’m traveling with my face darker than my neck!
