MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation - 1 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

This is hands down the best foundation I have ever used.

I prefer the old formula, I don't think this one covers quite as well, but the shade does match me perfectly.

When this arrived it had already been opened by someone else with makeup on the box and the actual item. Target says they do not take returns of items that are already opened. I would not recommend buying here!

This foundation is great on my oily skin, it stays all day and they have so many shades to choose find your match.

I fear I need a lighter NW shade, which is rough because I already get the lightest shade available. It's my favorite foundation, so it's a struggle in the fall and winter months when my skin lightens.

Only foundation I've used consistently. Have tried several brands and none have fit me like this one. Love it and won't change it

Unfortunately, just couldn't find a good color match for my skin tone. So I didn't care for this product at all.

Firstly, it dries quickly when applying. Secondly, this formulation has a much stronger smell than previous versions I've tried. Unfortunately, after a few hours I had to take the foundation off due to eye irritation, sinus irritation, facial flushing, and headache, which are usually signs of allergy for me. I wasn't wearing ANY other makeup product; just my regular moisturiser and sunblock. After 30 minutes of removing the foundation my headache eased, other reactions persisted for the rest of the day. I tried this foundation on two other occasions, and each time had to remove the foundation due to the reactions. I previously used the Mac Pro Longwear Nourishing and noticed no such smell and no other issues at all, so compared ingredients to ID what I could have reacted to. I've narrowed it down to: Methyldihydrojasmonate, Propylene Carbonate, Isododecane, and/or Chloroxylenol. The first ingredient isn't technically a fragrance or perfume but does have a subtle jasmine fragrance. All of these ingredients are known to cause the reactions I experienced. Worth also noting, this foundation was awful from application to wear. It looked patchy even after only a few hours of wear and application is tricky. In one of the occasions I wore it, I broke a bit of a sweat and it didn't wear well and completely came off in some areas. On third application I wore a primer on one half of my face and there was no improvement with wear for the few hours I was able to wear it. I have returned the product and am yet again looking for a foundation that works.

If you want a skin care foundation go for the studio radiance. They should have kept this the classic formulation. It was one of my old time favorites. This is greasy and it spreads around my face even though I am dry. Please just bring back the OG!

Loving this foundation for its all-day coverage and limited shine factor. This has been my go-to foundation since MAC discontinued the Lightful C Tinted Cream as no other foundation has provided the seamless natural look as this foundation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this foundation! I wear it anytime I do my make-up. It's lightweight and gives full coverage and lasts all day! Really like that its buildable, easy to apply and lasts. I occasionally have issues with it settling into fine lines, can also require slight touch up's, but overall. 5/5

I get bruises very easily, so I usually look like someone has hit me, but it's due to medications I'm taking. I bought this product because I was told that the people who have vitiligo buy it for cover up & that it would work very well on bruises. I had a small bruise on my arm and it was used on that to show me. The bruise was old and it sort of, kind of covered it up, so I took a chance in buying it. As I said, I bruise easily, so next time I got a bruise, I tried it. It did not cover it up at all, no matter how much I put on it.

This has been my go to foundation for years. Never makes me breakout either!

Smooth application when I applied it. My face never felt bogged down. The matte kept my face from being oily. It was worth every penny.

I used to wear MAC's Studio Fix and when I was ordering I see that's no longer and option. I loved it and used it for years... I have to say I HATE this new formula :( It's a lot heavier on the skin, but has worse coverage. It goes on patchy and uneven, it clings to dryness, and it breaks down a lot quicker. I'm so unhappy with it at all.
