Q: How many pounds is just the quilt (queen) I need more than two fabric sheets to cover a bed and most quilts are much to thin.

The shams are a bit bigger, you will want to get thick king pillows for these if you don’t already have thick pillows. I have a higher-pile red velvet quilt from Macy’s that I like to have on my bed from November through the end of February for the holidays; this quilt set is great for the spring and early fall because it isn’t very heavy. I could see people enjoying this set during the summer months if they are fans of velvet and sleep in a cooler bedroom. I’d buy this in a dark amethyst if they ever make it in that color. Even though I’m not usually a hexagon pattern fan, there is enough of a pattern variety that the geometric patterns are tolerable with most eras/themes of bedroom decor.

I claimed the Gray color but I got the Golden one. But that be OK not a big deal. This is so soft, comfortable and thick enough for winter time. It fit my Queen bed. I really enjoyed it. Thankfully Influenster give me a great thing for my bedroom. This is time for change

This is a lovely set for a reasonable price. The only reason for 4 stars and the only reason I returned it is the color is not as bright as is pictured. It is a darker olive green. I almost kept it anyway because it is a nice weight (not too heavy or light) and looks more expensive than it is.

It’s bold and leans towards a more mustard hue rather than green/yellow making the color look vibrant but yet so elegant. The honeycombs are key to making this quilt look elegant as well. The way the light hits the honeycombs gives it depth and that warm, cozy feel. The velvet is great quality! No pilling or clumps of velvet fiber falling off even with constant use. The comforter is nice and thick yet super soft and cozy. The pillow covers are just as soft and the quality matches back to the comforter as well. I have a shedding dog so it sees lots of dog hair traffic but a lint roller does the trick no problem. I will definitely be getting this set in more colors! What a great find!

It came with a comforter and some shams the comforter is reversible so you can flip it over for a shiny soft side or a more Matt doll color on the other side either way is just fine the blanket/comforter is like a comforter so it is a thin tight material. I really enjoyed making my bed, it looked like royalty, I would highly recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent little quilt set, and the shams fit most standard-sized pillows nicely. Depending on the type of pillow you use, the sham fits and stretches with it pretty good and will guarantee to make it look great. However, if you're looking for a light quilt or just a quilt for decoration then this is a great choice. But as far as practical reasons, it's way too thin. It cannot possibly keep you warm due to it being literally as thick as a few bedsheets put together, so I'm reviewing this merely from a decorative perspective. The texture and feel of the quilt is divine, like a soft and plush corduroy toy under your fingers. In average light, it has more of a deep mustard color while the intricate stitching offers a nicely done white highlight. The hems are stitched just a bit too abrupt for my tastes, but at least it drapes very well. If you have a bed frame close to the floor, it looks even better. Overall this isn't too bad, good to use for a warm splash of color.

I personally don’t care for comforters very much. I prefer coverlets. I would love to see this in a red or gray. Just changing your bedspread completely can change the room.
