Q: Does this kill norovirus?
A: Great question! Our solution is FDA-cleared to remove bacteria linked to skin irritations like blemishes, rashes and flare-ups. However, the FDA views our key ingredient, Hypochlorous Acid as a topical medical device, not a skin sanitizer. So, we are not legally allowed to claim killing action for our skin solution. For more about Hypochlorous Acid and Norovirus, search for publicly-available case studies on surface disinfection. The same ingredient is used to eliminate germs on surfaces---it's just governed by the EPA, and relegated to surface products only, not skin.

Q: When hypochlorous acid is used in skin care products, how long is the chemical effective in the product? Doesn't the chemical have a fairly short shelf-life? Thanks for your reply.
A: It's true that non-stabilized hypochlorous acid has a very short shelf life. However, Magic Molecule uses a proprietary stabilization method that safeguards the integrity of our hypochlorous acid for up to 2 years! Our formula is perfectly balanced for safety, efficacy, and stability, so you can trust it for your skin throughout the product's lifespan. For extra assurance, you can check the stamped expiration date visible on the bottom of every Magic Molecule bottle.

Q: How would you use this for diaper rash? Before diaper cream, after diaper cream, instead of diaper cream?
A: For optimal results, spray MM at each diaper change: 1. Clean and clear any debris from your baby's skin. 2. Generously spray MM and allow it to air dry (this can be tricky—just do your best!). 3. Apply barrier cream or diaper cream if desired. Magic Molecule is gentle on your baby's delicate skin and can be used as often as needed. We’d love to hear your feedback!
