Q: will this go on a bed with side boards and foot board

A: I think you could make adjustments to make it work with any bed since it just slips under the edge of the mattress and box springs. If you have a platform type bed with no box springs, it might be a little trickier to make it look good. Even if you had to cut the skirt into pieces to work around the frame, you could fold the cut ends over and it would look okay.

So it will likely "go on," but whether it will be a fully visible depends on what style of boards you have. Ours is rail-style footboard, so it shows behind it. On a solid wood sleigh-bed, for example, the footboard would hide it, obviously.

A: It comes with "pins" to secure to the boxspring. I didn't use them. I just tucked a small part of the bedskirt under the boxspring and it works for me. It has to be adjusted every now and then but I didn't want to put holes in the fabric of my new boxspring. I would purchase it again. Good value for the price.
submitted byKrazyK - 6 years agoA: Same as other's have said, there is an extra hem at the top that can be tucked between the mattress and the box spring or frame. It does need periodic adjusted, esp. when the bed is made. It is also thin, like a bed sheet, But for a king size bed, this was a great price and I love being able to take it off to toss in the washer/dyer and then easily get it back on myself.

A: No it covers 3 sides . It looks neat and clean. Reminder it is a strip of fabric. I found that I needed to attach it ti the box springs so it didn`t slide around.

A: Hi JP - We typically recommend using the provided twist pins to hold the bed skirt in place. Without a box spring, it will not be as easy to achieve the same tailored look with ease. Ideally, the mattress would hold the bed skirt in place, but would just take a little more finesse. There is a 4” flap that would need tucked in. You could probably use Velcro tape to secure the skirt to the frame as well. Hope this helps! Thanks

It's a little cheap quality. It still works for me though. You have to tuck it under the mattress, unlike my old bed skirt that covered the whole mattress so no issues of it sliding off, but I actually haven't had any trouble with that anyway. Fits the mattress well.. Also, the color seems more brownish gray than the pic showed, but I'm still ok with it.

Love, love, love the wrap-around style! It makes it SO easy to put the bed skirt on your bed. I’ll never use a regular bed skirt again. You definitely need to iron it before putting it on your bed or you’ll have lots of wrinkles; however, I don’t think that’s uncommon with anything coming out of packaging.

So this bedskirt does not work well on a bed without a boxspring. There is nowhere to screw in the screws that come with it. I have used it on a bed with a boxspring but it still needs to be adjusted and it takes forever to adjust and readjust the skirt to look just ok. The material appears in the ad as taut and square like. This material is rather flimsy and does not appear neat as it does in the ad.

It was not exactly what I thought it would be. It is a piece of cloth that fits flimsily around the bed and has 1 elastic strap that goes on the beck of the bed. Then it comes with 6 cloth screws that need to be screwed in 2 on each side to keep the cloth from slipping around. Once put together looks pretty good. Wish it came with more cloth screws.

the elastic is so stretched on the full size that it provides no tension whatsoever. It might as well not be there. I had to use the "optional" pins that come with the product to actually secure the skirt to the box spring. What is sold as a simple installation is truthfully a time wasting process that still doesn't work adequately. It looks nice, if it stays. Don't waste your money on this like I did.

The quality is good. The unique way of having an elastic band so you can install the bed skirt without removing the mattress is genius. It works really well. It also comes with 6 special pins to secure the bed skirt. Very pleased with this product..
