Description

Delicately sweet with a buttery soft center, our Classic Sugar Cookies are simply delicious. Crisp-yet-tender, every bite is sweet nostalgia.

Directions:
1. Place oven rack in the middle position and preheat to 350°F.
2. Remove plastic packaging from frozen cookie dough and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet 2 inches apart.
3. Bake 15-18 minutes until the desired doneness is reached. Cooking time will vary. We love our cookies lightly golden with a soft center!
4. Cool on the pan for 1 minute, then transfer to a rack to cool completely and enjoy.

Q: How long can the dough be left in the refrigerator (not freezer) before cooking? I accidentally refrigerated it instead of putting it in the freezer after buying it.

  • A: You can store the dough in the refrigerator for a few days (up to 5), but for best quality, we recommend keeping it frozen until baking. When baked from refrigerated, the cookies may not rise as much, and the baking time may need to be slightly reduced.

Q: Can the dough be rolled out to make cut out cookies?

  • A: Hi. Thank you for your question. Our Sugar Cookies can be rolled out to make cut out cookies. You'll want to let one box of Classic Sugar Cookie dough thaw on the counter for about 30 minutes. Once softened, press all of the dough together into a smooth ball. Use a rolling pin to roll it out into a ¼-inch-thick circle, dusting with 1- 2 tablespoons of flour as needed to prevent sticking. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let cool before decorating.

Unbelievable. Purchased this from Target yesterday 9/30. Got home to bake and the package says best if used by August 21 2026. Why sell an expired product? Really absurd and a waste of my money. Wanted to try this for the first time and not a good first impression. Ridiculous

Iverpriced oillsbury dough (pillsbury tastes better)

Save your money. These are ridiculously overpriced cookies. My grandmas recipe is 100 times better. I had high expectations for these but it’s no different than glorified pillsbury dough. I even sprinkled them with sugar and they were still meh. I ate 2 and gave them away to a friend with small kids. For me to waste the calories on something it had better be really good and these cookies aren’t it. Don’t bother buying them.

The best Ive tried in a while

These taste amazing! For the people saying it’s flavorless I mean c’mon it’s a plain sugar cookie what do you expect lol. But I definitely taste the sweetness of the sugar but it’s not overwhelmingly sweet it’s the perfect amount of sweet. The texture is perfect. They’re soft and chewy. The only thing I would say is that I found a piece of hard plastic on one of the cookies it must’ve been from the packaging when I was removing them. Other than that these will be a staple in my home. My kids love them.

Cookies are great! Just a recommendation for the packaging team, the plastic container holding the dough broke into little pieces when we opened it and we had to pick out the shards. May want to update for future batches.

Underwhelming!

I wanted to like these however, the sugar cookie was flavorless! If the flavor is supposed to be extremely subtle then they hit the nail on the head! Save your money and buy Betty Crocker!

Delicious homemade sugar cookie

I love that they are frozen and you can just pull from the freezer what you would like to make without having to make the whole batch!
