Flaky, golden, and irresistibly buttery, Jo’s Buttermilk Biscuits are a true labor of love. After a full year of recipe testing and dozens of batches, Jo finally found her way to the perfect biscuit. Every bite is warm, layered, and melt-in-your-mouth good. There’s really no wrong way to eat a biscuit; warm with butter, drizzled with honey or jam, topped with gravy, or smeared with strawberry butter.

Directions:
1.  Place oven rack in the middle position and preheat to 400°F.
2.  Remove plastic packaging and place frozen biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet at least an inch apart.
3.  Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown.
4.  Brush the tops of biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with flaky salt. Serve warm.

  • A: To travel with frozen products like biscuits and cookies, they should be packed on dry ice and put in the freezer upon landing. Our production facilities usually pack with 5-10 lbs of dry ice depending on how many packages are being sent and the time of year (i.e. more for summer months). We recommend packing in an insulated cooler.

    What a rip off!

    If you’d like to pay $10 for the privilege of having to bake six tiny, tasteless hockey pucks, then these are for you. I suppose once buttered, with the dark, crunchy bottom peeled off, they taste ok, but each biscuit is about 1/2 the size of a normal biscuit. The price is insanely, outrageously high.

    Used for Ina Garten's Chicken & Biscuits

    I love Ina gardens biscuit wrap recipe for this dish but after going through the steps of making everything else having to do the biscuits from scarehots becomes cumbersome. but I looked up. I looked up a high quality frozen biscuit and this popped up online. it worked EXTREMELY well. I did defrost it a bit before putting it on top Frozen then brushed it with egg yolk. The only reason for the four stars is because it tasted a little raw dough tasting in the middle. I'm going to try this again but par baking the biscuits first and then will update my review. but much better than anything. I have tried at the grocery store and definitely stay away from those pop-up cans.

    Yummy but tiny

    Delicious but so tiny. It only came with 6 biscuits and they are miniature. Texture and taste were wonderful but only left me disappointed there weren’t more. Especially for the price. Other brands typically do at least 8 and are probably 3 times the size.

    Good, but the ingredients keep them from being Great...

    These biscuits had a strong butter flavor and I liked them. I didn’t need to add anything to them. However, disappointed in the ingredients and the choice of them using bad ingredients such as enriched flour. These could have been a weekly staple in our home if better ingredients were used. I will maybe buy on rare occasions for when I have guest and need something easy and good to server with breakfast.
