It’s elegant yet modern in its own way. We did have to buy the additional length to extend it down as it was too small but it can also be hung so it is closer to the ceiling. I would definitely be buying another one for our other area.

The light fixture is sturdy and well made. The shade was made of the same material lampshades are made of. That is my least favorite part of this fixture. I feel like it will yellow over time.

I put it in our basement nook area to add some light to a rather darker part of the basement. My only problem was not anticipating how low it would hang as a semi-flush mount light. My ceilings are too low to accommodate this light in the area I wanted. My brother-in-law is 6'7" so we have to be mindful of height clearance on everything.
