[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying the Malen 20 Inch 8 Light Semi-Flush with White Fabric Shade in Black. This is a really beautifully designed light fixture. I absolutely love just how well the eight bulbs illuminate the space that we hung this light fixture in. The 20 inch round shade is very impressive and gives the space a very elevated look. The Malen was very easy to install. I highly recommend this light fixture to anyone looking for a very dramatic but highly useful light fixture.

In love with our Malen ceiling light! It is absolutely stunning in our primary bedroom. It illuminates beautifully and evenly and provides the perfect amount of light in our space. It is on a dimmer and creates a beautiful ambiance. The light is such a statement, I highly recommend it! We chose the black finish and it is stunning. The gold looks beautiful too. You can't go wrong with a Kichler light fixture. The installation was very simple, it took us 30 minutes to install. The linen shade is high quality and a soft white shade. I love the open bottom, the view is so pretty but also won't collect much dust or bugs!! We are so happy, thank you Kichler!

I say "somewhat" only bc It required some assistance due to the weight of the light, other than that installation was a sinch. I love the style of the light and like that it will interchange through style changes. It's definitely durable and made with great quality material. I definitely recommend this.

Was relatively easy to install and took about 45 minutes from start to finish (would have been easier if I had another set of hands). Looks great and definitely enhances the room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Malen 20 Inch 8 Light Semi-Flush with White Fabric Shade. We needed a new light fixture for our entryway and this fit the bill. The shade is pretty delicate, I wish it was a bit sturdier, I felt like I was going to rip it just taking it out of the box. Otherwise, I think it fits well with the Kichler brand and matches the other light fixtures I have without looking to gawdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well designed ceiling fixture a snap to assemble and install. The eight candelabra bulbs offer excellent lighting for a foyer, hallway or room. Metal fixture body well engineered with excellent finish. Fabric shade has an appropriate snug fit to the frame. Completed, installed fixture is fashionable and modern while providing functional lighting to any indoor application. Packaging - Well protected with cardboard for fixture and shade. Additional cardboard reinforcement on all side protects from damage in transit. All fixture components and shade are packed in plastic packaging to protect against smudges and moisture. Instructions - Pictogram well detailed along with step by step installation instructions. Easy to follow for quick assembly of components and installation. Provided in multiple languages. Assembly - The outlet box mounting plate (referred to a mounting strap in instructions) is pre-threaded with the fixture mounting screws for easy alignment with the fixture canopy. Mounting knobs are easily applied and tightened to complete the installation of the fixture to the outlet box. Wiring - More than ample length of three wires to connect to supply side in the outlet box. Wire nuts included. Installation - This semi flush fixture did not have a mounting cable that allows a one person installation. Other Kichler fixtures that I have installed did have the cable. This was a two person installation completed in 15 minutes. Very easy to install and tighten mounting knobs for a snug fit to the ceiling. - The fixture consists of two components that are twisted together on the threaded main cable conduit. Overall Impression - Excellent finish on the metal components, all well protected in shipment packaging to avoid scratches or nicks. - Fixture design is elegant; construction exhibits tight fitting components for a very integrated look of the finished product. - Light Sockets (8) offer great lighting for any application. The photos attached are on a 9' ceiling foyer which is bathed in light with the 25w bulbs. - Components are well fitting and have a sleek finished look upon assembly -Shade is well constructed providing a warm glow thought the white fabric. A great unit!

I have generally gravitated towards Kichler products as they've always been excellent quality. This Malen fixture is no exception. From the white fabric shade to the champagne bronze metal, this is certainly a quality light fixture. The lights are dimmable, so it will be perfect for those candle lit dinners. Very elegant, yet timeless feel, I have already received compliments and its not even hung.

The finish is perfect and goes with basically everything, so modern and elegant looking. It was super easy to install, my husband is an electrician and had no problems setting up. Malen was inspired by the notion of the lights holding and resting, as its shade rests comfortably into the light. The Malen semi-flush is sheer perfection. Its fabric shade settles into on-trend champagne bronze metal uprights. Its open view from below keeps the bulbs subtly visible as they illuminate your space. The white fabric drum combines both trendy and timeless.This light is perfect in our spare bedroom. Installation took about an hour, I'm very happy with this light!

Assembly was super easy and looks amazing with the other brushed nickel pieces in our house. My only complaint would be that the wires are plenty long to drop the light lower, but didnt come with any other pipe pieces to extend it longer. I would have liked to see it hang lower than it does, otherwise amazing light.

Installation only took me about 40 minutes including removal of the old fixture. It's a simple enough job even if you don't have experience. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so I LOVE this light fixture. It is officially now my favorite light fixture in my home. It is way more beautiful once you hang it up than it looks in the picture or even holding it out of the box. You won't regret buying this light fixture. It is made of great materials and that brushed nickel look with the soft white shade just makes it look out of this world. The only issue we had with this light fixture was the little lock washers that go on the screws that hold up the light fixture were too big and kept falling off. They need to be a a bit smaller so they snug onto the screw and don't fall off when trying to install it. Another thing that would be helpful is being able to put the shade on somehow after the light is installed because it does sort of get in the way when installing the light fixture. Overall, this was easy to install and there was plenty of extra wire with this light fixture.
