The Malone Downloader Duo Kayak Rack is an all-in one kit to store up to two kayaks vertically on top of your vehicle. The package comes with two sets of Downloader racks, two sets of JAWZ universal mounting hardware, four Malone 12 ft cam buckle straps with protective covers on the buckles, and two sets of Malone's SpeedLine ratchet style tie downs as the perfect upgrade to make sure your kayaks are secure even on long hauls. Making frequent trips with your kayak is made easy with the fold down carrier frames that have a locking mechanism that when unlocked allows them to lay flat on the roof when not in use. This is a huge time saver for those who would normally need to attach and detach their racks when entering garages with lower clearance. On top of all that, loading your kayak is made easier with the help of the built in loading ramps. This product also carries Malone's trusted limited lifetime warranty.

I bought 2 kayaks last summer and was looking for something to add to my existing roof rails to transport them. I love that these fold down when not in use and are easy to remove from the roof rails. They're not the easiest to use on with an SUV (think climbing on the seats and poking head through the sunroof to get the straps in the right position), but I imagine that would be true of all kayak racks I would use given the height of my car. I have been able to take my kayaks on the highway with no issue. The instructions it comes with are not great-I recommend checking youtube for direction.
