Q: Hi I would like someone to please specify if these 3 pack of bottles actually come w 3 nipples too bc I'm confused by what I see in the picture and what I read in the description . Please answer me asap !!

submitted by Rose Anna - 6 years ago
  • A: I also did not get nipples in mine!

submitted byMarisol - 4 years ago
  • A: The description for this product says: INCLUDES THREE 5oz anti-colic baby bottles including three slow flow nipples appropriate for newborn babies. That is slow flow, not medium flow. I believe the 5 oz bottles come with slow flow and the larger bottles come with medium flow.

submitted bySZ - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi there Rose Anna! Our 3 count of MAM Anti-Colic Bottles comes with three MAM Medium Flow Bottle Nipples. Thanks for your question!

Q: Can I use the slow flow nipples on the 9oz bottles? Are the nipples interchangeable on each bottle size?

submitted by laf - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi there! Yes, all of our MAM Bottle Nipples are interchangeable with all MAM Bottles and the MAM Trainer Bottle. Thank you for your question!

Q: If the mam level 1 nipple is too slow for my baby and the level 2 nipple is too fast is there an in between nipple size I could be using?

submitted by Carebear2007 - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi there! When you see nipples begin to collapse and/or your baby biting/tearing at the silicone nipple, it is time to switch to a faster flow nipple because baby is not getting enough to satiate their appetite. If your baby seems to be overwhelmed by the flow rate of the nipple, try reducing the amount of liquid in the bottle to slow it a bit. Thank you for your question!

Q: Has anyone else had an issue with the print coming off the sides? I've seen such good reviews but 2 out of 3 of ours barely have any print left to know how much we are filling them with. Disappointing

submitted by lmalexander86 - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi there! Thank you for your message, and we apologize for this problem! Please be assured that no harmful chemicals are used in the production of our bottles. Your baby's health is our top priority; we only print with non-toxic substances. We can guarantee that the colors used for our products are 100% baby-safe and not dangerous. We recommend using a non abrasive sponge and non abrasive soap when washing our bottles. We recommend taking the bottle completely apart and removing the silicone valve. Washing all the parts in warm soapy water and using a nonabrasive soap and a soft bristle brush or sponge. Rinse completely, and dry the components completely before reassembly. The silicone valves must be completely dry.Our sincere apologies once again for the inconvenience!

Q: Do these bottles shed microplastics? if so at what rate?

submitted by Nate - 3 years ago
  • A: There is no legislation nor standardized test method dealing with microplastics. Up till now MAM polypropylene (PP) bottles have not been tested for microplastics particles. MAM baby bottles are extensively tested according to the standards and regulation in place (EU,China, USA, Brazil)and comply or exceed the relevant requirements (overall migration, specific migrations,non-intentionally added substances-NIAS) Additional to the requirements set by the legislation, MAM Baby Bottles are evaluated in everyday usage conditions-after extensive cleaning and heating procedures (boiling, microwave heating) to get evidence that no substances of concern are migrating. Furthermore together with other renowned companies, MAM is involved in research work, where MAM Baby bottles have been tested for hormone activity, cytotoxicity, genotoxicty, and no reason for any safety concern was detected.

Q: Hello. Is there a specific warmer I should purchase to use with these bottles? Will the Baby Breeza warmer work with these bottles? Thank you in advance.

submitted by Hensy - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi there! Thank you for your question! Our bottles can be warmed in a bottle warmer, under hot running water, or in a container of heated water after removing the protective dust cap. After heating, be sure to stir thoroughly to distribute heat evenly. If you are heating by using a bottle warmer, allow the standing time recommended by the bottle warmer manufacturer and test the temperature before serving. In our instructions, we recommend wrapping a cloth or towel around the bottom of the bottle and shaking to absorb any excess water after warming. We also recommend tightening the lower portion of the bottle after warming. Any bottle warmer that fits a wide bottom bottle should work. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

My family has tried 8 different bottles and this Mam bottle has been the most enjoyable. Our baby has a clean latch to the nipple and barley any milk build up in the corners of the mouth. There haven't been any hiccups from using the bottle after 3 weeks. I would highly recommend, especially for newborns.

MAM bottles are the only bottles my little one would even attempt to take. I ordered the “Shell” color which looks like a cream on the photo but when I received them they looked like a powered pink. Returned.

Every time I order bottles and pacifiers from Target website, I never get what's pictured. Ordered these in pink with duck, received an orange color with turtle. Ordered replacement and got the same thing again. Very disappoonting, as it's says they're not sold in store so I can't just go get the correct ones. Has happened with pacifiers too.

I love these bottles! I had received a couple of the newborn bottles (4 oz) as a sample from my OBGYN and used those initially and then purchased these. I didn’t start using a bottle until my baby was 2.5 weeks and it was because the doctor told me I had to start supplementing with formula as my baby was gaining weight very slowly. Even now at 2.5 months she’s 50/50 with breastmilk and formula. For newborns I would recommend purchasing the size 0 nipples as size 1 can be a little fast flowing for newborns. And the nipples after size 0 do seem to be a little different, but my baby didn’t have any issues transitioning. I like that with the MAM nipples you don’t go through nipples as fast. My baby can still use the size 0 nipple. My sisters really recommended the Philips AVENT Natural Response bottle and I did not like them, especially compared to the MAM bottles. With the Philips AVENT my baby struggled to get anything out and I had to upgrade nipple sizes immediately which she quickly outgrew. With my MAM bottles I don’t have that issue at all. My baby also has an easier time with the MAM nipple as well. The somewhat flatter shape makes it fit better in my baby’s mouth and it’s easier for her to suck. The shape of nipple also pairs up well with MAM pacifiers which I love! (Side note: the MAM comfort pacifier is the best pacifier to start out with because it’s so small and fits so much better in a newborn’s little mouth!) I can understand the cons with some people. It comes with 5 parts which I can see being tedious to clean with babies that only ever drink from a bottle. I didn’t mind washing them and have only ever hand washed my bottles. Plus you can sterilize the bottle in the microwave in 3 minutes, which is only possible because it comes in 5 parts. Some people complain about leakage, but if you properly line up and twist on all parts there won’t be. I’ve only leaked the bottle once and it was because I didn’t tighten the bottom part enough. It really doesn’t take a lot of effort or time to ensure parts are properly together. The bottle only shows 2 oz and up with 0-1.5 oz being on the bottle cap. When I made a bottle under 2 oz, I just put the cap in the part where the nipple attaches (the color plastic rim piece) to hold it steady. The plastic piece does a perfect job at holding the cap up so you can measure liquids accurately. Some people have mentioned that the recent new design (with the seal on it) comes in pink instead of a cream color which is true. It’s more of a pale pink. But MAM has a variety of colors if that’s a deal breaker for you! MAM bottles really are the best!

we LOVE these. i saw these in store when i was pregnant and just thought they were cute. so my sister got me some 5 oz bottles and my sister in law got us tommee tippee. we used a the tommee for about a month. but once i gave these a chance, my baby boy HATED the other bottles. he gets more food without getting too much. we have a boy who loves his food. so i ordered the 9 oz bottles for my family who is watching him when i go back to work and i ordered us some as well. we gave them a go and it was a win win for all of us. we didn’t have to make a second bottle and he got more food without having any gas or stomach issues. i’ve also never had any problems with leaks. we have them pretty much assembled, checked, and ready to go instead of assembling when he gets hungry.

I’ve been babysitting this 4 month old for about 2 weeks now, his mom just finished maternity leave and had to go back to work last week, only to find out her baby won’t take a bottle. We weren’t sure if it was a lipase issue, a tongue tie, or just that he preferred the breast, but he would go 10 hours without a bottle just so he could nurse when mom got home. Consequently mom wasn’t getting any sleep, but baby was making 6 wet diapers a day. Fast forward 2 weeks, we have been trouble shooting what it could be, tried nipple shields, feeding in different angles, have tried like 10 other bottle brands, including Dr. brown, Timmy toppee, and nuk bottles. Baby wasn’t keeping the bottle in his mouth, kept spitting it out, but would suck on the mam brand pacifier all day long, with no milk, would refuse a bottle with milk so he could get back to his mam paccy, I had the idea today of seeing whether it was the bottle nipple itself (since the paccy is oval not round tipped, like the natural flattening of a breast while nursing- since again, baby has no trouble nursing, just won’t take a bottle) and voile, for the first time in his life he drank not one, not two but FOUR 2 ounce bottles of milk (and kept it all down!) mom and dad are relieved that they can finally feed their sweet baby, all thanks to the unique design of the mam bottle!

This was the only bottle / nipple my baby would take after trying MULTIPLE other brands. I’m confused by the reviews talking about leakage - we have never had an issue but are careful when reassembling. I feel like the way they disassemble makes them very easy to clean thoroughly.
