A: Hi! Duration of colors can depend upon a variety of factors: condition of hair, depth of color, frequency of washing, use of styling aids or heat tools, exposure to sunlight, salt, chlorinated water. For best results with Manic Panic hair color, we recommend pre-lightening your hair first to a pale blonde-level 9 or higher. This will not only help the color show up as vibrantly as it should, but it will also help hold the color in your hair properly. On hair that has been properly prelighened, most colors will gradually fade within 4-6 weeks.

The color is really vibrant and bright when first applied. It fades incredibly quick. I used green. It fades to yellow in less than a week.

I have dark brown hair, and I used some vegan cruelty bleach to prepare for this dye. It worked amazing. So vibrant and it hasn't faded one bit.
