Beppe Conti (Turín, 1951) es un veterano periodista y escritor italiano, considerado uno de los grandes especialistas en ciclismo en su país. Tras iniciar su carrera en la La Gazzetta dello Sport y consolidarse durante décadas en Tuttosport, vivió en primera persona la época dorada de duelos como el de Moser y Saronni, además de cubrir grandes eventos de esquí y fútbol. Actualmente, es una figura imprescindible en la televisión pública (Rai Sport), donde destaca como comentarista y 'memoria histórica' durante las retransmisiones del Giro de Italia. En su prolífica faceta como escritor, Conti se ha especializado en desenterrar el lado humano y los secretos del pelotón, publicando obras fundamentales para entender este deporte.
