You get four different Mardi Gras Indian bands playing long and funky versions of some traditional songs and likely a few you don't have elsewhere. These arrangements and performances are more like you would hear on the street and not cut down to make singles for radio play. Excellent liner notes offer a history of the bands and the songs.
