Q: I doubt that u can answer my ? (It's more rhetorical) but I used to love these until the nutrition amts. were listed on the back; why is there so much total fat, sat. fat, sodium in their products?

A: Most of the fat comes from the crust. I like the pot pies but don’t eat all of the crust because of that.

Q: So I love these Chicken Pot Pies...but my microwave went on the not working list!! so tried to cook in new microwave & its not cooking right! it is a 1100 watt. I have wasted 4 pot pies because of this!!

Used to love these pot pies. Bought some recently for when I’m too tired to cook and they are awful. The crust, the gravy, everything is now so incredibly bland. The texture of the gravy is off. The crust is thin and no longer flaky and buttery. Will never buy again

Chicken pot pies have gone downhill badly

I used to really like Marie Callender's chicken pot pie esp the 10 ounce size. Seemed to be ok when I had one at Christmas but I purchased two the other day on sale from local grocery store and am vastly disappointed. Crust used to brown up nicely even in the microwave but now, when I try to cut into the crust as instructed, the crust edges crumble up into pieces where I try to hold it while cutting out an X in the middle. And it seems as though the crust is TWICE as thick as it used to be, the inside of the inner crust lining the pan is half raw, chicken chunks way too thick; some of the carrot pieces are raw while others are cooked. Not not gravy either. I'm never buying these again - I'll make them using puff pastry instead.

I loved these frozen pies for years until recently. The last 6 or 7 pies have turned out horrible. The top dries out and sometimes burn but the bottom never finish cooking. I don’t know why they are turning out like this. I’ve adjusted the cooking time, the temperature, I’ve covered the pie and it always turns out the same

I do not know what kind of Chicken meat replacement you have in your Chicken Pot Pies, but it is disgusting. 180° of what I would get in your restaurant. Pressed cubes of rubbery yuck is NOT appetizing whatsoever. It should be 100% white meat, pulled. No grinding bones, cartalidge, tendons, fat, and pressing into HORRID cubes of "food" that I wouldn't deem worthy of my worst enemies pets. Everything else was good (Crust, peas, carrots and gravy).

Have enjoyed these pies over the years but the last 2 large boxes of these that I purchased at my local warehouse have been very inconsistent. This last box has so far had 3 pies which others have also commented have no gravy and are extremely dry. The previous box had an excess of gravy with less than usual chicken and vegetables. I am an older woman who likes to have items that should provide a hearty meal option, but I no longer trust the quality of these so will not purchase these again.

I quit buying the pot pies several years ago because the chicken was spongey. Well, the got good again a couple years ago but now we are back to spongey! Just gross!

My Mom likes these things but I tried one and not impressed. You have to cook it in the oven forever just for it to be edible as the microwave is a no go! Then prepare to be disappointed. My Mom likes a several of their products and looking at the photos on the box compared to the real deal is truly false advertising!!! I have yet to see any Marie Calenders products look the the picture on the box it comes it! What a scam!
