We do not recommend usage of any other equipment for cooking of the product as we cannot promise optimum results. However, we request you to continue to follow the directions on the package mentioned below as they were extensively tested and approved by our kitchen experts. Usage Instructions KEEP FROZEN; COOK AS DIRECTED Microwave Oven Cook only one at a time. 1. COOK on HIGH 51/2 to 71/2 MINUTES. No need to vent film. 2. 165°F CHECK that food is cooked thoroughly to 165°F. HANDLE CAREFULLY; IT'S HOT! Enjoy! Conventional Oven Do not prepare in toaster oven. 1. PREHEAT 375°F oven to 375°F. Do not remove film. 2. COOK on baking sheet in center of oven 50 to 55 MINUTES. 3. CHECK that food is cooked thoroughly to 165°F. HANDLE CAREFULLY; IT'S HOT! Let stand 2 minutes. Stir and enjoy! Great Fast Easy Meal!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Marie Callender's Vermont Cheddar Mac & Cheese is great for a fast easy meal in the microwave or if you have a little bit more time and like the breadcrumbs crispy, bake it in the oven. It's affordably priced. It has a decent amount of creamy cheese flavor to it,however the main drawback is the texture of the noodles,which were too soft for my preference. While I generally enjoy other Marie Callender's meals, this particular dish didn't stand out and wouldn't be my top choice. I'd rate it a 6.5 out of 10

Even when I added salt and pepper there was still no hope for this. For it to be Vermont cheese, I didn’t get that flavor. It tasted more like noodles with some kind of cream. I liked the texture of crust on top, though. It was a decent serving size too, very filling. Overall I do not see myself buying this product again. It was a no for me.

The pasta is okay, but it needs more sauce to achieve a creamier white effect, which it currently lacks. The amount of bread crumbs is okay. The container (a big bowl) that the pasta is in is made of cardboard. The packing is too big for the amount of pasta that this bowl has. If you ask me if I would buy it again... I would say NO because of the amount of food in comparison to the price.

Tasty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was nervous but to be honest I am impressed. For a totally affordable price this Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy and tasty. The packaging I am not a fan of. It is cardboard and a cardboard bowl so I was nervous about the food having that flavor and one bite definitely gave me cardboard flavor ( one crunchy on the edge) but the dish itself wasn’t compromised by it. It really was just that one bite. I threw it in the microwave for 7 minutes so cooking was simple. The amount of food wasn’t a lot. I was able to transfer it all into a small bowl but overall the noodles were good the cheese was great the breadcrumbs were nearly nonexistent BUT I would definitely by this to take as a meal to heat up at work. It’s affordable and tasty, simple to heat and convenient. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Sad to say i miss it
I really miss the original mac and cheese with yellow american cheese. I understand that it has been discontinued and replaces by white creamy cheese which does not taste the same. Can we still purchase original, plain mac and cheese somewhere?

Tastes and smells like a barn animal
It tastes like the smell of a barn full of animals. This is the weirdest mac and cheese I have ever eaten. It's thick, sticks together, somehow has a dry mouth feel, but worst of all is the smell and the taste. Like eating the hay from a cage at the zoo. So, so weird. Would not buy again.

I was shocked by how bad this was
It tastes like nothing. It's awful. My fiancé thought something was wrong with his tastebuds but I assured him it was the pasta and not him. I don't even know how they get away with selling this or how anyone could eat this

This offering of a small, small product is nothing like the full-sized product that you used to make. I just tried this product, and it was dry and tasteless in comparison. Please bring back Marie Callender's Vermont White Cheddar Mac and Cheese.

Terrible. Trashed it, and I spent money on it. Big disappointment. I was deciding between Tillamook mac and this, and I am let down with this because: texture is mush; flavor is bland like a bad alfredo; zero zing cheesey flavor; not even comfort food. I couldn't finish it and thre 3/4 of it in away.

tastes like a zoo
alike another review states, it somehow tastes almost like how a zoo or circus smells. personally the flavor reminds me of how elephants smell. there's barely any cheese flavor, and lacks salt, which is very surprising considering it's white cheddar. the texture is nice when cooked in the oven, though i can barely stomach eating it due to the flavor.

Good
Bought a couple of these to cook in the travel trailer camping. Always looking for something good tasting and fast. Hubby and I agreed that we liked these. It’s creamy and delicious. The portions could be bigger for the price. Other than that I will be buying more.
