Q: Is "off white" referring to the fabric seat cover or wood legs, or both? I prefer Marino "whitewash" wood but only see that in taller 30" barstool. What is dif in this wood VS Marino whitewash wood?

A: SusieQ, thank you for your interest in the Marino Backless Counter Height Barstool. the seat is already attached to the wood seat frame. If you decided to have it removed and reupholster this will void the warranty.

These are nicceeee. Especially for the price. They were easy to assemble—be sure to remove the white stickers as you go. I did end up recovering them although the fabric they come with is great I just wanted a stripe for my house. That was also super easy—just removed the screws with a drill and stapled fabric over the existing fabric. Anyway, these are really great.

There is a strange white uneven paint streak along the bottom and top of the black legs. I was surprised to find both my chairs with this issue and reached out to company. They said it was supposed to be like that and shared a finished pic. ??? The target pics have a solid black finish on legs. Not as advertised.

For the price, this is a great stool! Even some of the more expensive options didn't have as much padding and comfort to the seat as these do. We are a Big & Tall family and everyone has said they are super comfortable.
Assembly took my husband an hour a stool, with his drill.
FYI....if you overspray Scotchguard the finish may come off. So protect the wood!
