A: This stool does require assembly. The legs and stretchers have to be attached. The process should take no more than 10 min. You may need a screwdriver but it will come with an allen wrench, if it is required.

Not easy to assemble
The reviews say how easy these stools are to assemble...not at all! My husband had to drill a pilot hole into all 4 legs to get be able to scew the cross bars in the hard wood....End product is very nice, but buyers should know about this. I called customer service and they confirmed that there was no pre-drilled hole in the legs. Also, the layout of the stripes on the seat are different on all 3 stools, and the foot rests are too low for me ( I am 5 ft 3in tall).

Poor quality
Loved the design/look, however quality is awful. I bought 2 stools, the first one assembled perfectly, the second one had issues- the side boards were too short and they did not fit into the legs properly. I ordered another one in hopes it was just a fluke, since the first one was perfectly fine. The third one also had the same issues. I would not have felt confident sitting on it that it wouldn’t have broken. Disappointed because they were so cute, but I guess that’s what you get for the price. Now i have to haul 3 stools into the store to return. Such a hassle!

We have had these a little over a year now and not one is still put together. Not sturdy, screws won't stay, legs fall off. I don't even allow guests to sit on them for fear they will end up on the floor. HIGHLY disappointed!
