Very pleased with this foundation
I ordered the queen box foundation to use with my T&N queen hybrid mattress and found it to be a perfect fit for both the mattress and my bed frame. Assembly was simple and quick, and it raised my mattress to just the right height.

Quality issue
This is my second Box Frame from Tuft and Needle. The first was a dream to construct. This frame did not fit together well, the pins had to be hammered into place with a rubber mallet. The frame then had to be pulled some to accommodate the width of the slats. The construction quality has diminished, a lot.

Box spring not long enough
The box springs is not long enough for the king size mattress. Our mattress hangs over the box springs by about 3 inches. But it was very easy to assemble.

Didn’t stand up to little jumpers
Bought a king sized one about a year ago for a guest bedroom. I wouldn’t say the frame was the easiest set up but I felt that meant it would be strong. My initial order arrived with slats that were significantly bowed and unusable. T&N sent another (entire set which we had to take out the new slats and send back the rest…) which were not bowed. I had been using a non- t&n mattress (an avocado of similar build- nothing crazy heavy or different construction. The mattress was an inch or two too large overhanging on each side but I figured that was on me for mixing my brands. When I noticed the mattress sagging last week I pulled it up and investigated to find that the slats supporting the mattress - the large support ones - not the wooden slats on the top- had cracked and were causing the sagging. I have three kids 7 and under that had taken to jumping on the bed and I’m sure that this is what caused the breakage. But with kids or an otherwise active bed, I would get something stronger.

I would not recommend this.
I think there needs to be a clarity on the difference between box springs and box foundation. This is just a queen size box. I wouldn't put anything on top of it, the slats are placed with velcro. Not at all what I thought I was getting.

A Grown-Up Bed
This ended up being a take it or leave it situation for me. I am giving it 5 stars because I decided to get it as part of my new bed set up and I have no concerns. It is simply a lightweight platform that raises your mattress up about 5", there is no spring to it or anything like that. It is nice being elevated but I could easily have skipped it and simply had the mattress sit directly on the bedframe, or if I wanted to forgo a bedframe, I'm sure the mattress would have been fine on the floor as well. As it stands, having the mattress elevated feels pretty grown-up after a lifetime of sleeping on a floor mattress. I think the height also gives the bed a more polished look when made.

Overpriced and Terrible Dimensions
Ordered this since I’ve enjoyed this mattresses from T&N but this box foundation comes up short. Like literally it doesn’t come close for the king size dimensions and leaves too far a gap on both the head board side and at the foot of the bed. The Mint mattresses also moves constantly over the top of it and I have to adjust it frequently.

We do intentionally undersize it just a tad for stylistic purposes but it doesn't affect how the foundation sleeps. GREAT FOUNDATION!
We have consistently purchased these foundations for all of our homes. The are sturdy and simple to put together with a durable outer “fabric”. Great purchase for its intended purpose.
