Excellent quality BUT I ordered the wrong style. I wanted Makaha not Ho’okipa…so I am in need of reordering. Thank you for your quality of product. I have had Makaha in two colors for years- but I recently lost my black pair. So, I will be ordering a black Makaha replacement pair soon. Mahalo, Sheila

The sunglasses are superb. Very clear, sharp, and light weight. Can wear all day without marks or fatigue. These are my second pair. The only disappointment are the new glass cases. The old ones zippered securely shut and had a clip to attach to your belt or pack when traveling and not needing to wear the sunglasses. The new cases although attractive are not secure and don’t have a clip. Absolutely recommend the Ho’okipa sunglasses. Sunglasses case not carry friendly.

The fit and comfort were good but ear frame part color not as pictured. I returned. But I will buy Maui Jim again from local eye doctor, as I have MD and these get great reviews.

These are probably my favorite Maui Jim’s so far. I love the clarity of the lenses, they sit perfectly on my face. The arms have small rubber pieces on the ends that hold them snugly to your head without feeling tight. I can run with them, sail with them and they never feel like they’re going to fall off. This is my second pair because I lost my first pair at a beach party that went into the night. My bad. They were so good I couldn’t wear anything else. And my backups are another pair of Maui Jim’s.

Maui Jim's are by far the best pair of sunglasses ever created. No one understands polarized sunglasses until they have these. Here in Hawaii, you can see colors so vividly. The best part is you can see fish and other marine life below the surface while others cannot.

They fit fine when I first put them on, but they do not stay in place on my eyes and nose bridge. They are actually a little bit too lightweight to stay snug. I wish I had chosen a more substantial frame.

I really wanted to love this shiny crystal frame color but it was not as pictured. It looked like blue neon type color, cheap looking. Fit was nice though and I gave small face.

Very easy to scratch. Low quality Materials. Purchased on Sept. 2024 Very light use - 3 -4 times. Used only recommended cleaning tool. Now have scratches on the lenses. Pros: looking nice, and vision ok before thay becpme scratched. Warranty department wanted me to pay upfront not only for shipping, but also for processing. Not worth the hassle.

I absolutely love this style. I believe this is my 8 or 9th pair of the Hookipa's. Got my first pair in Maui, in the early 90's. They are light, feel great, good for all activities - driving, sports, fishing, beach, and so on. Right now I have 3 pairs - one I wear, one in my car and a backup in my gun safe. I live in FL and these tame the sun just perfect. Last thing, the MJ lenses in the Hookipa's are super, and very scratch resistant and light weight. I have 2 with bronze lenses and the rest are grey. Of the first 6 pairs I had, either the frames or temples broke, and one of my Labrador's chewed up a pair too.

More plastic used on the frame than I was expecting. The glasses fit well. I have AMD and looking for good eye protection. Although these do not cover and block all sunlight on sides, top and bottom like the other brands I have, I like the style and color. I wear these when I wear a hat.

Love my new Maui glass just wish the lenses a little bit larger seem to be just a little small on my face

I have worn Maui Jim sunglasses since 1986. I like the Ho’okipa style the best. I won’t wear any other sunglasses!

I really like the style of the singlasses and the optical clarity is exceptional. They were definitely worth the investment.

I love my Ho'okipa Sunglasses. I hadn't realized just how heavy the pair was that I broke until I started wearing my new frameless pair. I hike nearly every day, and they're so light that I sometimes forget that I'm wearing them! :) When I wore the pair I broke, I had to hold my hand up to the side of my face to block the sun. With this pair, no problem. MJ has excelled in combining form with function...and they've included style as well! The glasses are designed to fit the shape of the face, and the lenses curve just the right amount to shade my eyes from the side view. Also....my eyes are super sensitive to glare, and these glasses have just the right amount of UV protection. Kudos MJ! This is another example of your excellent line of products that you deserve to be proud of!! Linda
