I returned them. They were too shiny, too much bling. The nose piece looked like bent metal and the frame looked metal, not the look that I wanted. The lenses were too small and barely covered the eye area. I had been trying to replicate my old glasses, two pair that had clear frames, larger lenses and mirror lenses. I live on Maui and have and had several MauiJim glasses.

Very nice sunglasses. I returned them because the frame and lens shapes just weren’t suitable for me. I wish Maui Jim would offer the silver frames and temples of this set in other styles of sunglasses, maybe some wrap styles, because the color of the frames and temples were perfect. Unfortunately, I can’t find a Maui Jim style I like that offers the silver frames. Too bad. Why not, Jim?

I was a bit apprehensive about buying a pair of Kawika sunglasses since my last two pairs of Maui Jim’s had Super-Thin Glass lenses. However, the Maui Pure lenses in the Kawika are great and actually more comfortable to wear. I’m so glad I purchased them … and now I want to get another pair in the HCL bronze lens. They are just such a high-quality and versatile pair of sunglasses.

Retro i guess is the word..looks like the glasses my dad wore! Very nice obviously, as all MJs are, fit me particularly well, love the bronze lens. Spring hinges, tortoise shell look, nice lens size, not too large or small. Very comfortable.

Pleased with the lenses, but this being my second pair there is a clear drop in quality of the materials. The frames and temples are a very cheap plastic and don’t feel like they will last very long. Likely my last new pair of Maui Jim’s.
