Maxim Lighting Carriage House DC 3 - Light Wall Light in Oriental Bronze

Everything was done online. I had multiple quantities of fixtures to buy. Their bid price was great! They were good to update their quote as we made changes. The only negative was I tried to call and talk to the salesperson 3 times but she never took my call nor returned it. We ended up doing everything through their online system. The shipment arrived well wrapped and palletized. No damage. I would use this company again.

We purchased 2 of these lamps to use on our garage walls, and they look fantastic. With a dark slate shingled roof and light cream facade, the lamps really accent the house well during the day, and at night they illuminate brilliantly. In addition to lighting up the area, the water glass produces an attractive reflective pattern with the shadows. The color in the image is a bit deceiving, as the lamps we received were more black than bronze, though up close one could see a hint of bronze. We were nervous at first about the size of the glass. Unlike the image, the glass appears over-sized (think of blowing into a rubber glove or a character's head in Nintendo Wii). The fluted design makes it look quite large. Fortunately, the area is large enough and they look very natural. We purchased the coordinating Pole Lamp (style K0800) to complete the look. The lamp finish is near identical and gives out great lighting, however using the same type of candelabra bulbs the glass appears to give off a slightly more muted shadow at night and appears to not be as patterned as the wall lamp glass. Still, the combination really sets off the house. Finally, it might be helpful to speak with someone to ask about upcoming sales. Two weeks after our purchase they put both styles on sale.

The whole experience was very good. The delivery was fast and the lights look GREAT!!
