It can be as dark and bold as a black marker or super soft like smudging a pencil drawing. And the little sharpener at the bottom is great. I’m definitely getting more colors very soon!!!

I use Maybelline for long time and love their products and I'm happy to see that they didn't disappoint again. It's intense color, easy easy to apply, smooth and creamy and my favorite part It's that's waterproof and stay in place the whole day, even in humid places, like SC where I live. I always find it difficult to find a black eyeliner that doesn't get messy in few hours.

I chose black because I love classic looks — but here’s the truth: The pencil is too thick, too dry, and not blendable. As a liner? Not precise. As eyeshadow? It’s nearly impossible to create a smooth smokey eye or blend with other products. This might work for someone confident with bold makeup, but honestly — I regret not choosing the gold shimmer. That texture would likely be softer and more usable as actual shadow. Next time, I’ll go for shiny, not matte. A very sultry, rich, dense color. But too dry. Or you need to buy all colors for make up because they hardly can be combined with other brands.

I don't wear makeup often but I enjoyed trying this out. It's easy to apply, stays on long and not impossible to remove. I like that it has a sharpener in the cap. Just throw it in your bag and your good to go!
