Oh my the McCormick Fajita Seasoning mix is terrible

Recently bought 3 packets of the McCormick fajita seasoning when we could not find the Lawry's version. My advice is don't buy it. It is terrible. Strong fake lime juice taste. Not sure who your taste testers are but they need to be replaced. Go back to the blend made by Lawry's. When we made our fajitas with the McCormick version we had to throw them all away. I have 3 packets left that we would like to return for a refund or replace them with the Lawry's version. Please let me know how to do that.

It is great tasting stuff and very easy to use, but why the maltodextrin? McCormick makes many seasoning packs that contain only natural herbs and spices. Why not make a Fajita mix without maltodextrin as well? I assure you that you can, and people would buy it.
Gross.

Recipe was disgusting. Seasoning smelled awful. And I enjoy lime. I did not enjoy this seasoning. Taco seasoning alone worked better by far. It tasted like spaghetti sauce with lime juice poured in it.

My brother's been using this for long time, and he's a chef. I've been making fajitas from scratch for the last 30 years, and recently, my brother was laughing at me, and saying, "Bro, you are such a pendejo! Why do you do everything the hard way! At least TRY this McCormick fajita seasoning."
I did, and Muchas Bueno! Really good, and so easy. I had to let others know. So don't be a pendejo, try it.
And ignore the rating below by somebody who hates oregano & brushes her teeth :)

This is a go to brand for spices and such, and that shines through in this blend. It’s a winner for sure.

As soon as I poured the seasoning into the pan, it reaked. couldn't place the smell. it was so bad. oregano? Cumin? no idea but it smelled horrible. I didn't cook the food in it long enough so the food was saved, but never again. so gross, the smell burnt my nostrils!

Has a strong cumin taste, which I’m not a fan. I’ll buy another brand or make my own.

This is the worst fajita mix I have ever tasted. I don't think the person that made this has actually had a fajita before. I've never had some oregano in my life and I hope I never will again. I had to brush my teeth immediately afterwards to get the overwhelming rancid taste of it out of my mouth. Never ever buying this product again and it makes me weary to buy other seasonings from this company.

I love the taste of this seasoning and would have given it five stars on taste alone. However; I never really looked at the ingredient list before. Why do we need corn syrup solids; caramel coloring; etc in our fajita's? I had to knock off two stars for health and quality reasons.
