Did a blind taste/smell test comparing it with Cook's vanilla extract. Cook's smells wonderful, strong and fragrant smell of vanilla. McCormick has very weak smell of vanilla. Guess Cook's use a greater quantity of vanilla beans in making their extract

This morning, I opened a package which should have contained a 2 oz. bottle of McCormick Pure Vanilla. Imagine my surprise when I discovered a bottle of Food Lion vanilla! Since the bottle was sealed and it is too much trouble (and COVID danger) to return it to Food Lion, I will keep it even though I paid for the McCormick brand, not Food Lion. As a suggestion, please start putting a seal on your cardboard container which holds the bottle. Obviously, someone switched the bottles of vanilla but left no signs of tampering since the packaging is so easy to open and reclose. (The thief wanted the best vanilla, but I guess they couldn't afford it.) Thank you.
