Not for 15 inch laptops; works best for tablets or as an interview purse
The strap on the back was supposed to be for going over luggage handles, but it doesn't work well for that. Also, it doesn't fit a 15.6 inch laptop (e.g., Dell) at all, which defeats the purpose. For business items, it's a perfect bag though. Sleek, sturdy, elegant, and very durable, this would make a great purse for interviews, carrying files and paperwork, etc. But as a laptop purse, it would work mostly for 14 inch laptops or tablets only.

Bought this for a gift for my mother and she loved it! I was a little hesitant to buy a pricy item like this from Target, but I was really happy with my purchase when it came in the mail! meh.
Quality was good (sturdy, metal feet on the bottom), but design was odd. Handles weren't long enough to go over shoulder. Strap was really long and looked odd because the bag already has handles. There's a weird velcroed strap on the back with no obvious function. Capacity was too small to be a combined laptop bag and purse. Returning this one.
