Works with a toniebox! We have a son who is very sensitive to outside noises and the tonie box could not be used with his Bose noise canceling headphones without a Bluetooth adapter. Picked this one up and it works perfectly, after pairing once it's totally plug and play. It does have small parts so maybe not ideal if your child is younger than 4, but in terms of function this is exactly what we needed!

Highly recommended for traveling! As anyone who flies a lot knows, it's often a stressful time, and being able to plug this thing in and use my AirPods to drown out all surrounding noise is honestly a gamechanger. I usually start watching movies before the safety briefing and feel so much calmer and less anxious throughout. Plus, i can go to the bathroom without pausing!

Works fine, could use a longer cable tho. Sticking straight out of my dash rn. Especially cuz all the buttons are on the top, its defo a reach. Longer cable should be eazy to find though, and otherwise it does what I need!

No I wasnt going to use the speaker on the plane that would be inconsiderate but I wanted to connect it to my tv it wouldnt work the way I wanted anyway because my tv turns off the soundbar as soon as I plug this device in and I still wanted my soundbar to work together with the JBL speaker so in the end i will just be using this device for travel

I replaced my connect, which was dying, with this version, and while I appreciate all of the additions such as the volume controls, receiver, and extra accessories, I feel like the volume with my airpods is quieter than it was before so I have to turn the screen up more to compensate.

Finally a new bluetooth receiver! I have been using the MEE BTR from like 2017. It's my favorite wired headphone gadget/accessory and it is on its last legs so I picked this up preemptively. Things I like so far compared to the BTR: 1) works as both a transmitter and receiver 2) loong battery life, haven't had to charge it with well over 10 hours of use 3) USB-C What I don't like: 1) bigger size 2) no built-in clip, not a deal breaker but that was a really good feature for use with my wired headphones If you have an old MEE receiver and it still works, this is probably not a big enough upgrade, but since it's unlikely you'll find one, you won't be disappointed with this one.
