Pieces are missing, specifically 2x AM79070BLG so far and only and I only built the first couple packs

Horrible design. If you try to go strictly by the book, it will explode when you turn the crank. You need to redesign the pieces around the conveyer belt, and remove pieces from the head and neck area before it will function without falling apart, and the crank handle still comes apart when you crank it more than a couple times.

i was gifted this a few months ago. ive read that this is a difficult build for kids, but im 20 and struggled myself. the gear mechanism broke halfway through my build the first time by bursting through the base, so i had to start over, and upon further building, i realized i am also missing a piece completely. its a yellow 1x1 brick with a plus shaped hole, to use for rod placement. i can't even finish my build until i get a new one, i am pretty frustrated. its fun to build when i am doing it, but not fun when things are breaking constantly. a tip for those who struggle with the grass breaking: make sure the leaf corners are tucked in so theyre not pushing against the walls, thats what broke mine constantly.

Not good at all my son has been working on it for a week now and is getting frustrated and throwing all the pieces everywhere.

They come is a big book that has a step by step guide. He looks so good when build. like having you very own little Pikachu. Very good set.

Easy to follow instructions turn your bricks into pikachu! Took my 12yr old (and her dad) a few hours to build and countless hours of enjoyment as it actually moves! I can't believe how brilliant this is, I can not recommend it enough to all pikachu lovers.

A cute round faced yellow creature which has mechanical rotation that moves !! How amazing is that! My son loved building this and it the easy to follow instructions it was a dream ! I love the fact the bags are numbered which makes it even easier too! All in all a fantastic set and look good too

Instructions are easy to follow and it was not too fiddly to build and it is brilliant Pikachu moves and looks like he is running My nephew wants to play with it but it is only under strict supervision as i dont think rebuilding it will be as easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a lot of fun making this Pikachu the book provides you with a step by step guide of how to build it which are full of pictures and it’s clearly explained. Each part comes in bags meaning you can find what you need quickly. However I felt there was a bit too much packaging especially as the bags are not recyclable (some could come in just the big bag rather than several little ones). The only thing that lets this down is the grass chain at the front the pieces are very small so hard to put together and break easily we also found that it doesn’t flow very well on the cogs, however pikachu will move without the chain so this is what we did as my daughter got frustrated with it not working. 12 plus is a good age as some pieces are fiddly for little hands. We made this over several days as it took about 7 hours (including a few mistakes when we put a piece in the wrong place) Overall a well made product and one for the collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves Pokémon and was so excited to see this. Does take some concentration and hard work to build but once it is built it’s fabulous. Looks great on his bedroom shelf and he is so proud of building it. You can scan it to see it move which is an added bonus. It’s sturdy which is key, nothing worse than when it falls apart as soon as built. Has a good study base that you build upon. Good study and great quality pieces which fit together easy and come apart easily when you do it incorrectly. Overall very impressed. Would make a good Christmas present!

I like that it had moving parts, & it moved well, but didn’t like how hard it was to put some of the pieces together and one piece was missing . It is a good likeness for pikachu.

My 13 year-old Pokemon fan was absolutely delighted to receive this, he began building it almost immediately and loved every minute of it, highly engaged throughout. He (and I!) are really impressed. The running motion aspect is really, really cool and the level of detail to it is just fantastic, its really well made and is of a great size also. It now takes pride and place on my sons shelf. A must have for any Pokemon fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good construction kit- the instructions are clear and easy to follow, all in pictures so you can compare your progress to make sure its right. I think the age rating of 12+ is accurate. We did have a problem with the little track, just couldnt get it to work as it kept breaking- sure we did it right, even took some it apart to fix but couldn't see we'd done anything wrong. My sons doesnt seem bothered though and is happy with the rest of it. Cute little model all in all.

He is very creative so enjoys building, the blocks are much smaller than Lego and it is quite a tricky thing to put together hence the 12+ age on it. Having said that, there is no reason a younger child could have a go at building it with the help of a parent. It is actually bigger than I had expected it to be and looks absolutely fantastic. We all love that you can wind it up to make it look as though the Pokemon is running… It is very cute. The instructions are clear and the pieces are grouped into separate bags and numbered to help you build at ease, it can be a little fiddly but nothing too taxing. This toy is more of a model and for putting on display. I would thoroughly recommend and hope to see more like this one soon. Worth the money!
