MEGA Pokemon Building Kit, Kanto Region Trio with 3 Action Figures - 529pcs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have boys that love building blocks and one is also obsessed with Pokemon. This is the perfect item for them, and for me because it can keep them busy for a long period of time. With three models to build in the same box, this will keep kids occupied for hours. The size is perfect to be not too complicated for a kid to put together while also detailed enough that the models really do look great once displayed. This set comes with Pikachu, Charmader, and Meowth, which are three of my son's favorites. The instructions seemed to be easy to follow and accurate, as my eight year old was able to assemble all three models without any help but he still found it challenging enough to maintain his attention. I would definitely recommend this set, and I'm looking forward to adding other MEGA Pokemon sets to compliment it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is great with vibrant colors and images of the pokemon that you will be building. I like that each individual build is bagged separately in its on spot in the box. The instructions were laid out nicely as you would expect for an interlocking brick toy. My kids however lost interest during the build. Unlike the big competitor, the blocks felt a little cheap and didnt have that satisfying feeling when the blocks were placed together. Overall its a decent product, especially if you have kids who are huge pokemon fans!!

They come with intructions that my child was easily able to follow. After building them they look nice on display. My child really enjoyed this mega construx set. He said charmander was the easiest one.

I am typically a fan of a different brick built product and the build quality of the MegaBlocks are not quite to the same level. Dont get me wrong, the build went great and it was enjoyable, but the fit was not quite there and i had a few bricks that were not fully molded (forgot to take a photo). That being said i would gladly purchase more of the Pokemon sets to build the collection, keep them coming!!!

My husband and each of my two boys loved spending an afternoon building together as they each got to build a favorite Pokemon character. These sets are well made and complex enough to take time to build. They also hold up well during hours of play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great building block set of beloved characters. These kept my son was happily occupied for a few hours building which is always a win. They are between 4 and 5 inches tall so not tiny. I love how they color code the dots (see picture) in the building instructions so that you know exactly which section each piece goes. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. My son loves that he could move them all around and make them sit and walk, the posing is fun and they didn't seem to fall apart when you move them around. Only slight issue I see is some of the paint for the face is already getting slightly scratched off. Overall, they were a fun build and seem fairly sturdy to play around with and they look cute on a shelf so my kiddo and I are happy with them and would get more from the Pokemom universe.

There are lot of tiny pieces and my 8 year old needed a parents help putting this together. I would say this would be great for a kid who’s an experienced with putting LEGOs together. It took about an hour with a parents help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing set of 3 Pokémon Mega blocks set. This set consists of 3 popular Pokémons- Pikachu, Meowth, & Charmander. The set is not only buildable but also poseable. My children age 7 &10 were able to build it easily. Love how the bags comes packaged individually, very nicely put together for children to follow the instructions. The colorful instructions booklet were easy to follow. They really enjoyed putting it together and seeing the final result. The Pokémon were detailed. Colors were consistent and vibrant. Keep kids busy for a couple hours. Definitely a great set for children and adults alike that are a fan of Pokemons. This will make a great gift for both boys and girls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My six year old son loved putting this kit together! He enjoyed that it was a 3 for 1 kit, he needed a little help from dad but he did most of it! Only disappointment was that the pikachu character didn’t have the lightning bolts as pictured

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great set with hours of creative play but super tough to assemble compared to Lego sets. The. bricks are more difficult to snap together and the instructions aren’t as easy to follow. The packaging of the bricks is not according to the steps either. All in all a great product but improvements could be made.

The directions for these are very clear and the pictures helped my child put them together with a little assisance. The figures are sturdy and can be played with after they are assembled. Some of the very small pieces there are extra of which is great.

The set includes Pikachu, Charmander, and Meowth. Their arms, legs, head and ears are all posable and moveable. My child enjoyed displaying them with their other Pokemon characters. They make great collectors item or toy for your child to play with!

I only had to help get a few small pieces attached. Very fun for him to do solo. Would have been a little tricky for my 7 year old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old loves Pokemon, so for good academics I surprised him with this Mega Pokemon building kit since he loves to build legos and construction sets. He loved that it came with 3 action figures to build. To be exact, it was Pikachu, charmander, and meowth. He loves all 3, although he wished this set had the turtle but now he created a wishlist for what other sets he would love to build. This set is for 7 and up and it comes with 529 pieces. Very well organized and separated by each character, with a step by step booklet. Each character has a few bags separated as you build, you open the bag. Sometimes he would struggle and needed guidance but quite honestly it was very easy for him and he enjoyed building it with his older brother who is 9 years old. This makes a fantastic birthday gift, holiday gift, or just because. I love that it keeps the kids away from technology and allows them to use their brain and really focus. Of course, the end result seeing their happy smiling faces after they have completed and accomplished is nothing more than worth it to a parent. As a bonus if your child is a pokemon fanatic, this is perfect as it has the most famous characters included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing quality and good value. My 6 year old loves that she gets not only 1 but 3 pokemon. I don’t know the name of the other 2 but Pickachu looks really detailed and sturdy after built it. Definitely recommend it for Pokemon lovers or ages that are into building activities. This is just the right level of difficulty for my 6 year old, not too difficult but also not to easy that she gets bored after 2 minutes. Still have to build the other 2 pokemon.
